I’m redoing a section of our woods this year about 600ish taps. We had these all on ¾ single main with upto 30 taps per lateral with probably 1% slope.
Upgrading to 1 ¼ with a bunch of ¾ mains off of it. Going to put 3-5 taps per lateral. We ran vacuum but that section wouldn’t even get to 20 inch. Think I’ll see a good production increase?
Is 2 taps that much production boost over say 3-5?

Yes you need to be 3 taps or less on each lateral line. With good slope and keeping it tight with 24/7 vacuum. You will see results
