Thanks for mentioning my RUclips channel (www.youtube.com/@porcellioisopods3020/featured).
The black and white form is indeed a modest breeder. The Crete variety seems to be a bit more energetic in terms of reproduction. I keep both varieties the same. At least three-quarters of the tank must be completely dry and part with always moist sphagnum.
I don't know if it has ever been tried to keep both varieties together (this has probably been tried). I'm going to try it soon too. I don't expect them to mate with each other though. But who knows???

This is my favorite porcellio species. They don't breed to plague proportions so they keep their value and popularity high I've found where I live.

LOL at flavored margaritas! 😂. Sigh. Yet another isopod I want more than I thought. They were a bit down on my wishlist since I have P. werneri but thank you for showing me how different they are. Thanks for a great video!

I love this specie of isopod because of its beauty and how easy they are but the only down fall in Germany is their price being 27€ for 6 isopods

Hello! I really love your videos and I was wondering if you could make content about keeping isopods with beetles or other bigger inverts?

Flavored margaritas is no easier than flavomarginatus. It isn't a difficult word, and it is the actual name of the species, after all. Seems like the best option. If I was to advocate for a common name, I would opt for whatever they're called locally, in Greece, so long as it isn't more cumbersome than flavored margaritas lol. I imagine it might be something like kopeticus. No idea, honestly lol
