I think being able to go outside again has given Audrey the feeling of freedom she once had in a safe way though. This has opened Audrey up, and it's beautiful to see her growth.
Speaking as someone who works with cats, the change in Audrey is honestly mindblowing!! It really goes to show how much effort you both took to take things at her pace and adjust her to the safety of indoors. I think having access to the outside again really helped too, but it’s wonderful to see a cat go from street-feral to enjoying being brushed and taken care of 🥲 Since she was an adult when you started socialising her I wasn’t sure it would happen, but I’m so delighted for you that it has! You guys did a wonderful job!

Yoji ❤️❤️❤️ he probably ate a bug that gave him nervous system problems, I’m so happy he recovered well and is copying Bongji! I know what it’s like to have a sick cat, not feeling like you can do anything to help them. Its hard to smile or even eat. I think nurse Bongji nurses him back to health ❤️
when I say the signal word "BRUSHING", two of my female cats eyes get really wide and they literally dash across the living room to get on my laps for the brushing session. cats love brushing, specially their chin. I also know when you rescue/adopt a new cat, best way to win their heart is to do brushing. this builds an unbreakable bond between human and the felines.

I am starting to wonder if indeed Yoji ate a plant or something that gave him a sore stomach. He looked in pain. Audrey is fabulous. She is responding exactly like. My feral did. The peace of the country side seems to have taken away a lot of her angst. So nice to see, Hope Yoji stays well.😊
It sounds like Yoji and Bongji both ate stink bugs. That would affect their appetites, and it would also make them uncomfortable enough to want to hide.
Yes, I noticed the golden cats love everything which is their colour - my hair is blond, exactly their colour and I have always thought that he chose me because of my hair.
It's so hard when our fur children are mysteriously sick, so glad that they are better! One of my cats has asthma, he had a really bad asthma attack and I had to rush him to the vet yesterday. He is feeling better today, sometimes it is hard to stay strong and not break down when you feel like there is nothing that you can do.❤
Let’s see…Yoji not eating for two days, lies in the dark, then symptoms disappear on their own? And possibly related to the weather? Could Yoji have migraines? Migraines cause nausea, which is made worse by drinking water, and made worse by bright light and made worse by dehydration. Migraines also can be caused by changes in the barometric pressure that surround storms. Talk with your vet to see if this is possible, and if it is, you may need to keep anti nausea medication on hand and alternate ways to hydrate.
