Most Aqara devices are Tuya powered, so if you use the tuya app, you can use other brands as long there tuya powered, this is the easy way. For example I use the Aqara magic cube to control my tuya lights ( cheap lsc brand) and ledstrips ( cheap livarnolux brand), but also for adjusting the volume on my google tv and nest mini hubs... This is not standard and requires some programming and a hub to control it all.
Nope, distance is approx 32 feet nowhere near in my case. I got rid of all those crappy hubs and started using HA. With zigbee2mqtt and a Sonoff Zigbee 3.0 usb adapter, that will be 100x better than sticking with the Aqara hubs. No comparison and all local, super fast.
A couple of things really stand out in this video!
Yes, she uses two hands to talk. 😆
Like the light switch at the garage door? :P
Damn..I can't look at anything else in the video now
Finally a video where I can actually see how things work in real life! Thank you so much!
Does Aqara work with Govee lights. I want to use a door/ window switch to turn on my Govee lights. If so how do I integrate both. Thanks.
That is one hell of a shirt
Thanks for the comment, and watching the video!
I’m sure these are 2 big reasons that there are 100k subscribers
stifler's mom :)
I assume any zigbee devices will help these "short range" devices get noticed when the hub is further than 22 feet?
ZigBee is a mesh network
Not sure if it was mentioned in the video but who makes all the devices?
Sonoff
Do you know of a sensor that would alert about a power outage? Thank you.
That wouldn't work without power. But you could set up a service to ping your public IP and text you if there's no reply. That would mean no power
Hey
Quick question can I connect any smart led light bulb with the aqara motion sensors or does it have to be aqara bulbs only. Thanks

You can use any bulb that also works with Alexa or Home Assistant once you make the Aqara motion sensor also talk to that system using the Aqara hub.
my new favorite balloon color is blue 😉

Thank you Cindy. 😊👍🏻
You are so welcome. Thanks for the comment!
Smart Christmas Lights?
Can one hub covers the entire house? That is awesome~

What did it cost to get all the Aqara products in your smart home?
Nice one
Someone noticed the lose light switch at the garage door?
Not just a beautiful woman she also knows her stuff. ❤️
Should use Home Assistant with Zigbee and then you wouldn't need any hubs as HA would do it all.
Cindy didn't I see this before?
your on-camera presentation has improved a lot, but you must know that the microphone wire goes under your sweater not over.
LOVE THIS WOMAN!!! 👩❤😘 God can live in that house with cindy!!!!!

I just realized this video was about smart devices...I was distracted.
I wonder what part of her body was distracting you.
Never heard of Aqara. Google recommended this channel on my feed, is there a subscription for anything?
