I really don't hate Gunther so much the more I watch this show as I get older. His father is who gets on my nerves, he's horrible. Poor Gunther really.
Friend: "What are you doing?" Me: "Oh, you know, just chillin' here watching Jane and the Dragon, eating Nutella." Friend: "What's Jane and the Dragon?" Me: "Your new favorite show. Sit."
I think gunther might be afraid of his father. It looks half the time like he is abused. I also think he's secretly jeolus of jane beacause its shown in certain episodes. Also jane x gunther
I had to pause before Jane's attempt at a joke and steel myself because I'd knew it'd be painful. :( That being said, I really do think Dragon cares for Gunther in a sense. Even after this episode, he knows his behavior is not all his fault.
This show is so much like Harry Potter. Gunther IS like Draco, spilled, haughty and prejudiced, but only because of his father. Jane IS like Hermione, a harass, but worst enemies with Gunther.
I feel this is one of the most relateable episodes of this series. 10:22 This whole scene. I know personally what it is like to have built up so much animosity towards someone. And the part where you feel bad for taking it out on them is kinda terrible.
Poor Jane, being misunderstood by everyone throughout the episode.Okay, okay, after seeing this episode again and reading many of the comments I'm starting to like Gunther a bit, or at least empathize with him, but I still don't ship him and Jane.
I was working at a renaissance faire once where the knight didn't double check his saddle. His squire didn't tighten it enough. It slipped under him in the middle of the joust. He fell without making it half way down the field.
SCREW Jane and the merchant for ruining a good friendship. Gunther out of everyone in this freaking show needed a friend and that could have been Dragon if it weren't for Jane and the merchant's selfishness in this episode.
@FlashakaViolet Eureka means "I found something that is great!" So finding the princess was a great thing. And in case it needs more clarification, eureka sounds like "You reek" which means smells bad.
This is my favorite ep. Wish Jane and dragon would've realized it was gunthers dad who was decieving him not Gunther always feel bad for him his dads a dick!
I did a study.......every day in school, I would say POOP to one of my friends and they would burst out laughing. It is not even funny, but somehow.....poop is funny! D: Beware the poop~!!!!!!! Cause Eureka
Yeah, the ending totally sucks. Basically, Jane was in the right to feel jealous and her accusations of Gunther being manipulative and a bad influence on Dragon were right even though Gunther isn’t bad at all, his father was. And poor Gunther is left without a friend again all because of his father. If I rewrite it, I would have Gunther confess to Dragon that his father asked him to do it, and that he’s too scared to disobey him, and then Jane would apologize for accusing Gunther as manipulative, and she also apologizes to Dragon of feeling jealous and that she just misses him. Then Dragon will understand and would want to spend more time with her while also with Gunther. Everything else should play out the same, but in the end Gunther rides on Dragon with Jane. Just swap this episode to near the series finale and it would fit for Gunther’s redemption.
Oh, yeah the old whoopie cushion joke is SOOOO funny! :p Throwing dung??? Man! Those guys are worse than MONKEYS! Gunther's father's a bit of a jerk, isn't he? "No idea." Yet she laughs hysterically. :p 8:40 to 8:44 - I thought for sure he'd say: Just say the word and he's toast! 10:39 - OOH! She's MAD! I see Gunther's father has bigger plans in mind for Dragon; i.e. a slave. In the end, though, Dragon saw though the scheme. :)
Honestly I related to Jane when Dragon and Gunther were making those jokes, because they weren’t funny at all! In all honesty this is probably my least favorite episode so far unfortunately.
This episode is very realistic. Recently I had to reevaluate some of my 'friends' who were using me. I would have loved to have had Dragon help me as he helped Gunther and his father in the end. But Jane is right, even though it hurt to find out these folks weren't my real friends, walking away was the best thing to do.
No one: Not a single soul; Jane laughs at Gunther: You must not treat other people disrespectfully! Gunther laughs at Jane: (bc at the beginning Gunther laughs at Jane too...)
I hate lowbrow humor, but there's a lot about this episode I like...Jane coldly beating Gunther down, offering to help him up and then ripping her hand away....the sincere jealousy and distress she felt at the prospect of losing him to Gunther...Dragon nearly KILLING someone and Jane rationally talking him out of it (How often do you see people use more than just a single point of argument in cartoons? It just seemed really realistic to me)
Too bad Gunther's father ruins everything all the time... No wonder the poor kid doesn't have any friends.
Yeah, Gunther's dad is a dick

I really don't hate Gunther so much the more I watch this show as I get older. His father is who gets on my nerves, he's horrible. Poor Gunther really.
Deadass tho. When I was a kid, I loathed him - now I get why he was the way he was. The king’s son is a little hoe tho
"No, I Rakea! You Guntha!"
That man is freaking adorable. Pepper is a lucky girl.
her name is peppa not pepper lmao
@@yyeraa lol Hard to tell without subtitles.
@@itameio6161 I think it is a joke. Based on the comment they are replying to.
Her names peppa? I made the same mistake for years.
@@yyeraa it's pepper 🌶️ just like smithy and rake, they have real names tho look in Wikipedia
this is my favourite episode because i love seeing Gunther having friends and actually having fun with peple.
I've never really blamed Gunther for his behavior much. I mostly always blamed his father. It's good to see him having fun for a change.
Friend: "What are you doing?"
Me: "Oh, you know, just chillin' here watching Jane and the Dragon, eating Nutella."
Friend: "What's Jane and the Dragon?"
Me: "Your new favorite show. Sit."
Oh, I love introducing friends to new fandoms! Unfortunately it doesn't happen too often.
Why did they do this to poor Gunther he's clearly influenced extremely negatively by his father they should have him redeemed
I love Pepper's laugh!!!
I think gunther might be afraid of his father. It looks half the time like he is abused. I also think he's secretly jeolus of jane beacause its shown in certain episodes. Also jane x gunther
WTF
his dad beats him.
plasmodium falcoparum is a protozoan parasite
Might be
I don't want to see that Jane x Gunther crap
Poor Gunther suffering because of his dad knowing best!
U reka the jokes are funny I laughed so hard jane and Gunther's dad broke a great friendship
The one I found funny was "hey Jane, I know what will cheer you up... arm pit fart sound.
I love the background “moo” they put after Dragon does it.
Why can’t everything just work out in the end and let Gunther grow as a character and befriend dragon but still keep that playful rivalry?
I'm seriously wondering what Gunther's mom saw in his father....
Well times being what they were, and him being the kinda guy he is, she may not have had any choice in the matter...
I had to pause before Jane's attempt at a joke and steel myself because I'd knew it'd be painful. :( That being said, I really do think Dragon cares for Gunther in a sense. Even after this episode, he knows his behavior is not all his fault.
"Painful? Nooo. I shall not feel a thing!"
He is awesome!
the last joke sounds more adult then I expected from a show like this: "why did the cow jump over the moon? because the farmer's hands were cold."
How is a joke about a farmer milking a cow's udder with cold hands "adult"?
“He is what I say he is “😩🤣sound like my parent 🙄😭
That cow joke at the end was good
This show is so much like Harry Potter. Gunther IS like Draco, spilled, haughty and prejudiced, but only because of his father. Jane IS like Hermione, a harass, but worst enemies with Gunther.
Ale Vargas // and yet, people ship them, like Dramione
Blood Mage87 Junther?
Alex Yates 😂😂😂😂😂
Gunther can be a bit of a jerk, but this episode and some others make me feel really bad for him. His father is terrible!
Jester likes Jane a lot, and I mean A LOT!
I feel this is one of the most relateable episodes of this series. 10:22 This whole scene. I know personally what it is like to have built up so much animosity towards someone. And the part where you feel bad for taking it out on them is kinda terrible.
No, I Rake-a, you Gunther! *dies laughing*
That was one of the two really funny jokes...
Thanks, you're the best!!!! I've been dying to see this episode.
7:00 I love this little part specially the song that play's its such a medevil happy song
The show is pretty good at it.
@@ayoubmorjane7722. Ok?
what kind of father does gunther have???
Thanks for posting! I haven't been able to find this one.
"You might kill somebody accidentally!"
"Yes, life can be so cruel and fleeting"
I freaking love dragon...
Oh hell, they're all wonderful.
Mistrelia wait are you shure about gunthers dad?🤔
Poor Jane, being misunderstood by everyone throughout the episode.Okay, okay, after seeing this episode again and reading many of the comments I'm starting to like Gunther a bit, or at least empathize with him, but I still don't ship him and Jane.
I think Gunther's awesome TBH. Many disagree, but they don't know, do they?
Thank you thank you thank you! Here in Italy is difficult to find this cartoon.
My dawg gunther got jokes
BWAAAAAAHAHAHAHA! I actually laughed my ass off at half of Gunther and Dragons joke
This episode is the funniest episode of Jane and the dragon ever!!
Gunther's father is a bad influence on him! I wish they could see that it wasn't he that tricked Dragon but his father.
I was working at a renaissance faire once where the knight didn't double check his saddle. His squire didn't tighten it enough. It slipped under him in the middle of the joust. He fell without making it half way down the field.
Ah yes, life can be so cruel and fleeting." lol
"Squashing him with a boulder is not going to make you feel better!"
"Oh I think it might." lmao
I love this show so much
This episode always makes me laugh😁😁😁
I love this episode Dragon is so funny laughing at jokes he makes me laugh.
texas says this cartoon is so delightful, im a big fan of all of the cast.
lol I love pepper's laugh XD
yosan bihorn: Watch the “mismatched” episode if you want to test your Jane x Gunther theory.
Pepper's laugh is similar to a 'Witche's' laugh!😂😂😂
check your sattle, before the battle. that was a good one hahahahahaha. check, and double check.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Jane: Pepper, why is that funny?
Pepper: No idea! *Laughes hysterically*
lol!
I just told a friend of mine she's coming over to watch her new favorite show. Great minds think alike XD
SCREW Jane and the merchant for ruining a good friendship. Gunther out of everyone in this freaking show needed a friend and that could have been Dragon if it weren't for Jane and the merchant's selfishness in this episode.
Ages ago I wrote a fanfiction about Magnus. He died. Good riddance!
lol jester at 7:12 was hilarious.
I have the same humor as Jane when it comes to dung... none. Never have.
really good ep!
:)
Jane is to sweet
3:40 to 3:54 Rake- I rake a you gunther. Oh man That was my favorite part I was rolling on the floor laughing like Heck
I think its great you put these episodes of Jane and the Dragon on because when I was younger I loved them, but you missed a couple of episodes
yes they do, the show has been on for 2 years on qubo at 4:00 eastern time 7:30 pacific time.
wow this quality looks better than the TV! ^^
"Was it funny?" "No."😂😂😂😂The way he looks down when he says no cracks me up.
10:22 when someone messes with my friends and family
the're throwing dragon poop that was funny.
Omg I use to watch this
@FlashakaViolet Eureka means "I found something that is great!" So finding the princess was a great thing. And in case it needs more clarification, eureka sounds like "You reek" which means smells bad.

I LOVE THIS EPSODE LMAO LOL ROFL
I was referring to this episode, not the show. I have seen every other episode but this one there...
And Pepper is as well.
-PUTS SOAP BAR IN GUNTHER AND GUNTHER'S DAD'S MOUTH- U DESERVE THAT!!!!

the jokes are not HAHA funny, but they're worth a few chuckles.
that's nice.
I used to say fuck off now I say that's nice.
9:16-9:19
"Are you in pain?"

I love Gunther. We have the same humour. 💩

Nah, I would never let Gunther ride on Dragon with Jane, fueling all the mutter that Gunter and Jane are in love... kind of
I would have feel joulous it is my point weak than of Jane...>.
5:59 I thought she said "Bloody Hell" instead of "I need help".
5:59
gunther's father could use a diet both of body and mouth
LOL All the boys laughing.
Extra's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Throwing dung??? Man! Those guys are worse than MONKEYS!
Gunther's father's a bit of a jerk, isn't he?

10:39 - OOH! She's MAD!
I see Gunther's father has bigger plans in mind for Dragon; i.e. a slave.
In the end, though, Dragon saw though the scheme. :)
When it comes down to his cruel father, Gunther really is a nice guy.
Jane's jokes make me wish I hadn't heard them lol
im afraid that Jester's gotcha beat
@horsechick861 True.... Looking at Gunther's attitude I think she was actually pretty nice.

There's no way this episode could come to America without censoring.

jane's a good character, but she seriously has no sense of humor? i mean, that eureka joke was hilarious!
I feel the same way.
