Also, many thanks for this video! you have shown in great detail the steps to get this rebuild done in the right order and tricks that will help to get it completed. I too am going to be doing this same rebuild soon and now feel more confident in tackling it.
I agree porschmn. I had the weather-stripping but was just going to buy vent windows complete because I didn't have the confidence I could do it without screwing it up. But I believe I can do it know. Thanks!
No I didn’t do any videos on the side windows. I believe we recorded the install of the front windshield, but I have not had time to edit it and post it.
Thanks for checking out my video. Check with any of the suppliers that carry the Tri5 parts they should have it. I believe I used Danchuck parts in this video.
It worked out like a champ! Watched some how to videos for setting the glass into the frame. Btw Can you tell me the part number for the hardware kit used to rebuild the window frame and set the felt into place? Thanks.
Hey! Thanks for the video! Quick question, I’m replacing just the vent glass and I can’t find the “weatherstripping” or whatever it’s called that the glass sits on inside the chrome framing. Do you have any insight with that? Thank you!
Yes it is called glass setting tape. Do a google search with your year car and you should find several vendors that carry it. Classic Industries and Ecklers should both have it. Good luck with your project.
Best tutorial, clear and straight to the point.
thanks for sharing

@@cvclassics Thanks! You wouldn't happen to have a video on the side front and quarter windows, do you?
No I didn’t do any videos on the side windows. I believe we recorded the install of the front windshield, but I have not had time to edit it and post it.
Great video! Thank you very much for taking the time to edit and post. Helps alot of people. Where can I buy just the glass rubber channeling?
Thanks for checking out my video. Check with any of the suppliers that carry the Tri5 parts they should have it. I believe I used Danchuck parts in this video.
I went ahead and bought window channeling rubber. It’s inch and a half wider. I will set the glass, then trim the excess rubber.
Yes that’s exactly how I did it, just trim any excess off flush with the chrome with a new razor
@@cvclassics I’ll let cha know how it goes👍🏻

I heard it’s an awesome show. I haven’t been to that one yet.
@@cvclassics All owners should go one time. 2500 of them in one place. Drag racing, water theme park for family, etc.
Hopefully I’ll make it next year and check it out.
You make it harder than what it is
Thanks for checking out the video
Nice video. Where are your replacement parts from? Thanks and we need more 55 vids.
Most of the parts have been from Danchuck of Ecklers. There will be more 55 vids following soon
