As a Scorpio who dated an aquarius for a year, this is all so true. She was a very kind hearted person but GOD the emotional detachment was rough. The deepest she would express was "That's so sad." I have Sun in Aquarius with Venus in Pisces and Moon in Libra, and I feel like one of my biggest struggles in life is wanting that deep human connection but kind of feeling uncomfortable with my emotions. We don't talk because there is a million of thoughts running through our minds if we are upset and we don't want to say the wrong things so that is why we shut our mouths. Non verbal communication, to start. At the end of the day, he loves you then he loves you. It can be as simple as holding hands with intense initmate eye contact. He will lower his walls...then walk away and go on with ypur day. It will be a gradual lower of defence, then if you miss him then give him a hug or a kiss on the cheek and then again walk away and eventually he will remember how much he loves you and how it is pointless to be upset. If he seemed open to talk about the issue ask him if he wants to talk. Dont demand, They like to hold control or be the one in charge lol. He will talk.
