When I say the Marley hair made ALL the difference in the look of this style. Honey I did my hair and it’s giving!!!
I purchased the Y Wigs Boho Locs, the Deep Wave Bulk braiding hair to feed in curls at the base of my box braids and the human hair spring twist hair to wrap my roots with my own coin and did this same style. My install was a little different to totally cover my hair but the end look was pretty much the same. I ordered 72 locs and used about 60…..this was the heaviest style I’ve ever done. They looked beautiful, easy to maintain, minimal shedding but that weight was a deal breaker for me. I had neck pains they were so heavy. I kept them in for a month and I won’t be repurchasing. Now that deep wave and spring twist hair, top tier, I may repurchase that!

I love this tutorial because: no elastics and knots at the scalp, relaxed at the scalp, sections are brick and irregular and most important- this can be done on most types of hair with accessible materials big hug 🤗 and thanks

@@Natashaifeoma my bad. Just seeing this but no it didn’t. I just didn’t like the lint/build up around the roots of the hair because you’ll have to spend some time getting it out of your hair being that it’s locs and not “natural loose” hair after the take down.

I hope this will help someone… I purchased this hair with my own coins! 203.15 for 3 packs, a total of 72 locks. BOY OH BOY did I REGRET this purchase! Shipping was cool, I received the locs within a weeks time. Straight out the pack, the hair was gorgeous! I had these installed by my braider and she did a wonderful job.
Con #1: Heavy Heavy Heavy! Neck was on fire!
Con #2: Shed like DOG!!!!! I mean hair every where every time I tried to detangle this hair
Con #3: TANGLES LIKE CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!! The very next day the hair started tangling. Matted up like a matted homeless dog!!!!!
I got this hair for my 6 day cruise and one thing about me… my hair is ALWAYS on point! This was the first time I felt so bad about my hair. It was a HORRIBLE experience!!! Did I get a “bad batch?” Maybe. Orrrrrr once again, us hard working PAYING customers get the BS hair and the influencers get the real good stuff. I cannot tell you how disappointed I feel!!!! $203. 15 of my HARD EARNED money down the drain! Plus I paid to have this installed! This is why we cannot solely rely on these influencers, we have to read REAL reviews from real people who work real jobs! No disrespect to the influencers at all, but I’m just keeping it alllll the way real! I’m tired of being bamboozled and I take accountability for not doing more research before purchasing this crappy hair!!!!!!! I wish I could upload a picture of what my hair looks like after ONLY 6 days!!!!! Smh! I’m posting this comment to save someone $200+ dollars. FYI when I bought my hair they had a sale going on at the time. So the price may be higher than what I paid. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!! Smh
Oh man that sounds horrible !! I think u had a bad batch I had no issues with mine and mine weren’t heavy because I cannot take anything heavy on my head ! As far as tangles Chile that happens but mine wasn’t bad but yes u need to co wasn’t the hair n keep it moisturized! But these were the best experience I’ve ever had with faux locs 😫😫

Your hair looks gorgeous. Im hesitant because last year i installed my faux locs, but i cut my hair in 3 places accidentally when i took them out. Can you provide a video on removal. Your instructions are detailed and easy to follow. Also, how long did you keep them in, how did you prevent tangles? Did you mist the locs with a little water and finger comb?

Hi I don’t know if you said it in the video but about how many locs do you have in your head??
She said she used about 2 and a half out of 3 packs of hair. The brand typically sells each pack with 24 locs so she likely used less than 72 locs

So 72 locs 3 packs is 239$ and it’s worth it these have human hair and can be reused !!! 🥳

It just stays together lol i dont kno how or why it’s magic 🪄
What I do when I’m finishing wrapping Marley hair, I take the loc between my hands and rub my hands together where the Marley hair ends. Never had any unravel doing this technique. Hope that helps!
What texture was the bulk bundle? Loose wave?
