He is incredible! Professional opera singers with their soprano sing this musical part with visible effort. Dimash in passing, at the singing before the concert, scatters diamonds of pure water from the aria of the Queen of the Night - easily, effortlessly! And then there are deep, velvet notes of a real baritone! Genius. In general, backstage is no less interesting than the result.
@Benjamin Washington it's not just how hard or easy to sing it also about how he use all his registers with different colors and beautiful transitions, that for me in my opinion is OUTSTANDING. we have never seen someone mix styles like this especially in this generation.
Dimash is awesome but here he was just playing with the aria on much lower than it is performed, his highest note was c6 which is incredible, however the arias highest note is f6. So it is much higher than he singing here.

Dimash, good luck on O Zittre Nicht. No male in history has ever mastered that aria. Its longer and it requires 2 F6s and 1 F#6. Its longer and requires more training to do.
haha..I'm watching Mj in concert right now.. I'm getting nostalgic.. I can't believe the last time I saw MJ was in 1994 at Universal Studios when he was shooting Scream video. I was alone w/him for an hour. |His life changed so drastically after then.. He could sing the soundtrack of most opera all by himself. But with the magic flute i don't think he could do a proper Sarastro. You need a Moll or Talvala for that.
