I'm a huge metal fan, but really not a metalcore guy and I have to say WSS has some of the best guitar work of the last decade ^^ Saw them live yesterday and it was amazing
TRUE. Wish his ego were a bit smaller, but what guitar great wouldn't probably have a similar mindset. He's also still my favorite member, with Mat and Sav following, but they're all great people and fun as hell to listen to (both music and chats)
The new album is just great , no matter what people say . I think they nailed it by doing their own thing , sounds different but sounds sleeps! I love it!
It's incredible how their every album is so different from the previous one(s) and yet they sound exactly like themselves. I'm sorry they feel the need to explain or say sorry for creating the music they like and want to make. It's their band, their music. We as fans can either like the songs or not, but it's not our business to criticize them for not making the same kind of music they made 15 years ago. Change means growth.
I’ll forever love em for their warped sets in pouring rain in Pittsburgh so seven hills this is the 6/brainwashed era my fav but some of the new tracks still groovy I don’t mind em stepping outside the circle for a record think with Sleeps there’s always a banger that’s good live or in your car or for a certain mood so I always try to listen more to the newer stuff than I do the old I love because I don’t think there’s a bad song on those 2 I wana like everything else just as much
I'm a 55 year old guy with two teenagers, and I think I love these guys as much or more than they do. They're the best all around. I love them and will support them until I am no longer on this earth.
the thing with this band is that, even if what they do is not my cup of tea, i still massively respect everything they do. HUGE inspiration to all of us who are ready to grind it as an independent groups.
Met them last week for their new album signing great bunch of guys. The new album is great not my favourite but still very good.sean is one of the best guitar players in modern metal his leads and cleans are fantastic and the use of the whammy and pitch shifter is phenomenal.

Self Hell was definitely a solid album! I may prefer their previous album, Sleeps Society but this new album is good.
