Theres a contract that connects a relationship between US ans PH. (Which I heard President Duterte broke off recently. Q.Q) but that contract was like time of where Philippines are now independent country. Thats why Ph and US are like close. Although what ever happend to US and PH today . The Ph and US still sticks together and I think whats more is that America promised to protect and Join Forces with the Ph againts China about the South china sea / West Philippines sea. Which its getting stronger thats why theres tension in there. So thats my answer because its my view. I dont know for the others.
