@@jeffcordero_ Please give me pointer to line this thing up. It’s such a PITA I gave up on it. I’ve got a iPhone 13 Pro Max and man…. I cannot for the life of me line up the camera.
@@TheZchauvin I get the camera open. Find the bins through the camera screen and just follow it until the phone attaches to the magnet, then its just a little adjusting to get it completely setup. I will say it is way easier on a tripod than freehand.
Good to-the-point review. I'm now a step closer to buying one for my binoculars. However, will the phone stay in place and attached to the eyepiece if you place the steel plate between the back of the phone and the inside of the case making the plate removable? My point being is that I don't want to permanently attach the plate to my phone or to the outside of the case. I'm thinking of getting a new phone and I don't want to spend another $100 if the plate can't be reused.
@@jeffcordero_ Thank you, that's good to know. Moving on, what I found out after I posted is that on their website you can buy 3 plates for $14.99 which kind of makes my concern no longer relevant.
very well put together review! and it does not stick up when you glass normally? Would it fit the iPhone mini? can't wait for you to shoot an elk with it 😁
I love the no nonsense and honest videos .... good stuff Jeff !
Son bought me one. Can’t wait to take it to the field!
Looks like it works. Probably pick one up for my new NL Pures.
Great video, Jeff!
I did add just a touch of glue to assist the attachment of the metal rectangle.
Does it align the phone as well?
As well as you line the camera up.

I could not. The magnet isn’t strong enough to have the plate under a case.

Badass man, thanks!💪
Does this affect the wireless charging of the iPhone?
I don’t use the wireless charging feature but if I’m not mistaken MagView has a backing plate that works with wireless charging now.
@@jeffcordero_ Thanks, I'll check it out.
Great video dude!

I think as long as you can get the back plate onto your phone it would all work!
Tnx for the honest review
Instead of electrical tape you can use one inch bycicle inner tube, that's will hold it as well.
How did you get the camera to focus with iPhone 14?
it auto focuses. I only ran into an issue when i try to zoom the phone itself
Unless you have Leica. With tapered lenses caps. Not good
Ollin is the best
No way I'm paying $100 for it
