Lay haven't joined much because he is the young ambassador in China and there was time when China and Korea were in a conflict. Now it got better and we still don't know when Lay would be able to join EXO (since they haven't made a comeback yet). Just so you know, Lay is a busy successful guy, he didn't rest even for a day and maybe because he is currently shooting some dramas or movies or preparing for a solo but given that he had already made the Visa to Korea so it probably would be any time soon💕 (ONE THING FOR SURE, LAY WOULD NEVER LEAVE EXO. Star Wars gave them those lightsabers and they got to keep them. Lay's contract ended with SM but he's still EXO. Lay wrote in Weibo that both SM and him are working out a business partnership so that they can still work together. This vid isn't in sequence so that's why they were not wet in Transformer and Overdose.
They’re so good live. The U.S. tours were great but I’m saving to see them in Seoul in 2025. I’ll sell my house if I have to.

This video is actually edited because in the concert they performed Overdose first followed by Transformer then Lightsaber thats why you were so baffled why they were dry after Lightsaber..thats why 😅
Regarding Lay leaving SM..yes he left SM ent. but can still be with EXO or join EXO in future projects by special contracts..because he has his own company in China now they can do collab projects if they want to. Thats why i think he said he is still part of EXO. I think that is way better than being tied up with SM..since he is so busy with his own stuff and projects in China.
In the letter that Lay wrote he only said that he left SM. Lay also said that he would remain EXO's Lay when the members needed him. Lay is still part of EXO, it's just that now they have different agencies 🙏
LAY is not part of SM anymore but he is still a member of EXO. He can still promote with the group under a new contract in partnership with his own company. He said himself, “I will always be Lay whenever my members need me”.

Omg J Macs reaction when the lightsabers came out 🤣 Kais official position in EXO is center and main dancer, so that’s why he gets screen time. But I’ve noticed even when he’s in the background, he still stands out because of his stage presence. The members always compliment his strong aura. Surprisingly he’s only like the 5th most popular member. And yes Lay is still in EXO! 😊

It was exo'rdium concert ..the best from my point of view,and if i do remember well in the concert they began with overdose, then transformer and they ended with lightsaber...i remember after that Baekhyun appearing covered with towels during the ment they did after lightsaber...hahaha

Lay contract with SM has expired after 10 years. In fact, their entire EXO contract has expired.But since Lay established his own company in China, he decided not to renew his contract with SM.but he still with EXO. And He has not left the group. He works with Exo under the supervision of his own company.We hope this change will be useful for more Lay in EXO

I loved it so much, i repeated it like three times. Only reason you see Kai so much is because as main dancer, he is EXO's center. It isn't meant to make the other members less important, but If you watch their choreo's, the choreographers put him there as the Center. Also, the videos, were in reverse. In the concert, the songs were performed Overdose, Transformer, then Lightsaber. Nice reaction, looking forward to the next.

Kai is the Main Dancer and the Center of the group, so he's just bound to be upfront. He's not trying to outshine anyone. They're ALL good!

- The is the song called 'Promise' composed by Lay for EXO-L as an apology that they aren't we are one any more (regarding members leaving situation): ruclips.net/video/bMrnSRn6fYs/видео.html. Lay composed this song and went to talk to members, and they liked it. So, Chen helped with Korean lyrics and Chanyeol handled the rap lyrics.

I never quite understood why this video was set up the way it was, these performances were all at the same concert and part of the same set, so they were all performed one right after the other without any break, but for some reason this compilation video was put together with these performances out of order. So, "Transformer" and "Overdose" actually came before "Lightsaber," that's why they were wet at the end of "Lightsaber" but dry when you see them in the next song.
Fun fact: In the middle of "Transformer," when EXO makes that picture in their dance, if you know what you are looking at, you will notice that they are using their arms and bodies to "transform" into EXO's hexagon symbol and they spell E-X-O.
EXO have so much influence on international pop culture that big western companies, such as Disney are coming to them and asking them to partner with them. "Lightsaber" was a collaboration between Disney, which owns the Star Wars franchise, and EXO as a way to help Disney promote the most recent release, at that time, of their Star Wars movie "The Force Awakens".
So SM came up with the song "Lightsaber" -- which is sort of a remake of a song SM already had also called "Lightsaber" which we heard used in Kai's pre-debut teaser video -- and EXO's accompanying MV.
Those lightsabers are official Disney brand lightsabers given to them by Disney, so they are as close to authentic as you can get without being the actual movie props.
One of the reasons why SM agreed to partner with Disney on this project was because it fit so well with EXO's storyline and concept. As aliens from Planet Exo, it makes sense that EXO might be Jedis as well. :D
And like everything that EXO does, flowers even play a part in their live stages. Flowers are a central part of EXO's storyline, so we often see flowers in things to do with EXO. Although I am not sure yet what the significance of blue roses is, blue roses seem to have an important part in the story as well. For example, we also see Sehun with a blue rose in their "Love Shot" MV.
You also see during "Lightsaber," leading into the rap section, on the floor they show an image of swirling flames, which is the combination of Chanyeol's fire power and Sehun's wind power, which are the two members who are the main rappers of the group.
This concert is in Japan, and if you notice for "Lightsaber" they are singing in Japanese -- "Lightsaber" is one of EXO's Japanese songs, so if you watch the MV, just know it's going to be short because traditionally, most Japanese MVs use an abridged version of the song. I think It's part of Japan's marketing strategy to make you buy the song or album in order to hear the full song. So, most of the time, to hear the whole song you have to see it live in concert like this. (They have a Korean and Mandarin version of Lightsaber, as well.)
Rumor has it that an executive from Disney happened to catch EXO's performance of "El Dorado" at one of their concerts -- in which EXO also has choreography that uses lightsaber-like lightsticks -- and that's how they were inspired with the idea to ask EXO to collaborate with them on this project. Also, as one of the big 3 Entertainment companies in Korea and around the world, SM has had a relationship with Disney for a long time now and SM has partnered with Disney to produce programs for Disney Channel Korea in the past. Many of the members of NCT got their start pre-debut as members of Korea's Mickey Mouse Club and they starred on the well known variety show which aired on Disney Channel Korea.
If you think these performances are amazing, just wait until you see a whole concert. Kpop concerts last 3 to 4 hours straight and they perform this intensely while singing live pretty much the whole time. In this concert they probably performed 20 to 30 songs and they never took more than a 5 minute break in between sets to change their clothes and set up for the next set of songs. So, what you experienced in this video is only a small snippet of what you can expect for the whole concert.
Now you see why EXO concerts sell out so quickly because everyone wants a chance to see them perform live. EXO are one of the top selling world artists. Their concerts sell out some of the largest concert venues around the world and they are one of the hardest tickets to get. They hold the record for selling out 230,000 seats in 0.2 seconds. The mad dash to secure a ticket to one of their concerts often crashes ticket selling websites even before tickets go on sale. And that is not an exaggeration. They literally sell out in the blink of an eye in every country they tour in. They are world artists on a whole other level.

Don’t be confused. There’s no conspiracy theory 🤣🤣. The video is actually in backwards. The correct sequence in concert is overdose > transformer > lightsaber. I think the uploader change it to avoid copyright. They were wet in the end 🤣🤣. Its not that easy to get their hair perfectly dry like that in seconds.

14:37 Kai is my bias but I understand your point and while watching I was thinking that in this video Lay had a lot of screen time (this is not very common) so I was glad because of it. But I need to tell you that Kai's position in EXO is literally 'center'. He's the center and one of the 3 main dancers, so that's why he's always on screen because even when the camera is showing everybody he's in the center of the coreograpy, so it seems like the camera is focusing on him but it isnt.
