"It fulfills in each of us something we lack".....precisely.

Off comment, but the way he wears his sleeves half over his hands is art itself; most gallery artists are quite clean cut, even if the apparel is artistically designed to affect the art itself, so seeing it makes me consider him someone even more artistic, more introspective, and enhances the idea that he does in fact use art as a way to communicate what he otherwise might not.

This is more “why do you think you make art”.
The reason why we do something, and the reason why we think we do something, are two very different things.

@@grungepants I don't think he disagrees with you, it just seems like your logic is backwards.
Most artists are broke. You're lucky if you get bank in this career.

This is a clear example of someone who dont have talent for art!!! Since New York became the art capital after WWII, all those group of 'artists" are very very bad and with bad taste for aesthetics!!! I hope one day Paris or Madrid can be the art capitals again to see more Picassos, more Matisses, more Modiglianis, more Dalis etc.

I can’t take anything seriously from a person that used multiple !!! It doesn’t reinforce your argument, it weakens it.
