I remember only playing Bloodborne b/c it was free with my ps5 and I thought I would die repeatedly (I did) and give up. It turned out to be an amazing game and my favorite one. I highly recommend it.
This is a playstation gamers list. Black myth: wukong, the spiderman sequel, bloodborne, and not one but two entries in the God of war series mixed in with other games that deserve to be there, that with the exception of BOTW are also playable on playstation. The fact that Elden Ring and BG3 werent on this list and it was rounded out with Ragnarok and Black Myth Wukong said everything I needed to here. Neither won game of the year, and BMW had a meta score of 81. Im surprised you didnt squeeze last of us and astrobot on here.
I don't disagree on your take of 10/10 games, however i do have a problem with recommending souls games to everyone, no matter how good they are. I'm still mad at Greg Miller for buying Patapon 2 after his review and i feel that both rythm games and soulslike games are not for everyone 😅
to be fair the same could be said for almost all titles. for me personoally, eventhough ive never played it, GoW just makes me switch off because its gameplay has never interested me like that. Souls games are really popular but just like GOW some peeps like it and others don't
