    Correction: the disc consists not of 5, but of 6 parts.

      I want to say that the animation and the sector disc look very impressive under pulsed lighting, but this is not conveyed in the video, it needs to be seen live! Therefore, you can print discs using my links. And also make flash lighting. In addition to the generator, you need LEDs (I used 8 pieces of 3 watts each) and a control transistor (I used IRFZ44N).

    Would you care to share how you built the electronics?
    The rotating disc and the LEDs? Im building my own Zoetrope

    • @grain-diose
      @grain-diose  6 месяцев назад

      Certainly. I used this motor with a gearbox for rotation - aliexpress.com/item/1005006828526427.html
      And such a ready-made PWM - aliexpress.com/item/32835541668.html
      LEDs need to be connected through a powerful transistor, I recommend using IRFZ44N - aliexpress.com/item/1005005801525204.html It is designed for high currents, when heating, use a heat sink.
      Connection diagram - ibb.co/WcJrc5S
      The best quality is with the shortest pulses, i.e. 1% duty cycle, but this makes the illumination weak. Therefore, it is better to take more powerful LEDs, I used 3-watt ones, but I don’t remember how many, about 8-10 pieces. You can take 5-10 watt ones to sleep them together for the required power. If your object is larger than mine, then it is better for you to immediately solder a group of LEDs at a higher power of 50-100 watts. Because they will illuminate in short bursts, ideally 1% of their total power.
      I wish you success in your creativity!

    Hi Grandpa where is your old video in which you made Tesla Coil?😕 I need it for my College Project 🥲

    • @grain-diose
      @grain-diose  3 года назад +1

      Thanks, I'm sorry, but I deleted a lot of old videos that didn't give views. Videos with a Tesla coil, including simple circuits, are full on RUclips and on the forums. There are forums specializing in Tesla coil and other high voltage toys. But I plan to make again a video with high-voltage experiments, I also ordered a Tesla coil from aliexpress, it makes no sense to do it myself.

    • @grain-diose
      @grain-diose  3 года назад

      Today, YT is already full of Tesla coils according to the more advanced DRSSTC and QCW DRSSTC principles, the length of the discharges of which exceeds the length of the coil itself. I'm not even talking about the fact that they have a built-in music channel + they have music reception via bluetooth.
      But a diagram of what I was doing is here - ibb.co/1G1TP5F
      This is already a kindergarten today. 😉

    Soo if I wanna made stroboscope light. All i need is very short duty cycle Right? Please answer me I need this project to my college

    • @grain-diose
      @grain-diose  2 года назад +1

      That's right, you need a flashing light and preferably with the ability to change the frequency and duty cycle. I used an inexpensive generator, it has both. The shorter the light pulse and the longer the pause, the better the effect. But the shorter the light pulse, the more powerful it must be.
      Here is the generator - aliexpress.com/item/32835541668.html
      Or in the body - aliexpress.com/item/32950074641.html
