BLEEPING Smoke Detectors I FOUND A CROSSWALK BUTTON

I didn't get a lot of sleep last night. Smoke detector battery went dead.
I found a pedestrian crosswalk button on my bike ride today!

Hey BB, from my side of the lens it looks like your brakes need to be adjusted, just an observation. You should have kept that crosswalk button, that way when you come across those red lights that won't change you can simply press your button and make it change! 🤣🤣🤣

In this day and age, smoke detectors should be rechargeable. Even my 110db bike horn is rechargeable, and it lasts for a whole season at minimum, probably last for couple seasons without recharging.

Bad idea!
The real issue isn’t the battery, rather the sensor wearing out. After 10 years, the sensor may not detect properly, and the whole unit must be replaced.
