- Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare was a franchise that was spawned from PopCap's need to evolve and innovate after the lacklustre release of Plants vs. Zombies 2. Despite its popularity among the PvZ fanbase, we haven't seen a new entry since Battle for Neighborville in 2019. So what happened? What caused the rise and fall of Garden Warfare?

Почему этот видос набрал так мало ? Тут одного монтажа на 1000 лайков.
Я к стати пришел с перевода этого видео.
good video, im love gw
Wowwwwww. This video was amazing!!! How does this only have 243 views?!?!?
Great video. Really expected to see alot more views. Keep up the good work.
I have so many fond memories of the 2 garden warfare games. I remember when I was 8 I got the gw2 on launch day from my parents and had to watch a Zack Scott video so I could understand why I didn't get the unicorn chomper. Still play gw2 to this day and it is still as fun as ever!
Both garden warfares were flawless some of my favorite moments in all of gaming is when the GW2 trailer dropped
There are three kind of people. People who love GW, people who never tried Garden Warfare and people who only played BFN.
The first games are amazing for especially GW1 for me as I love the simplicity of it and the awesome maps and great artstyle. Also the balancing in GW1 is bad. But thats part of the fun for me. Doing well with Ice cactus or Goalie Star and emoting after every kill is the most fun one can have in a multiplayer game. Also on PC its alive enough that during regular hours you can always find a match of Gardens and Graveyards.
Also I did not know that GW2 sold way worse than GW1. That surprised me. But at the time the 60$ price tag also made me wait a bit.
Really at this point I just hope that at some point the Server Software of these games will be leaked, made available, reverse engineered ... so they can be preserved and played even if EA shuts down the servers.
havent finished the video yet but damn i really gotta get some friends together to play co op PVZ as this shit was fire
Related to your Microsoft joke, Microsoft took it a step further and are now shutting down companies.
I still have my shit gw1 videos, but most are privated on my channel lmao gotta hold some of those memories even if they are cringe 💀💀
While I personally really enjoy BFN, I will not deny that the way Popcap and EA handled the entire thing (from Founder's Edition to the final update) was abysmal.
It was like a risk they took, that COULD have paid off, but it didn't due to how badly they fumbled the bag. If this game was allowed develop for a while after the pandemic blew over (not as in releasing), maybe thing would have turned out different.
Like, wouldn't you ADVERTISE your own game, to let people know it's coming out? Nintendo did all that heavy lifting when BFN came out to Switch.
And now because of that failure, PvZ is in this stasis where nothing happens. PvZ 3, Match and that RPG game are going seemingly nowhere. PvZ 2 is being given updates even after 11 years, with the artstyle being very hit or miss nowadays, Heroes got a very.. questionable balance update, and the original PvZ for mobile?
They're making you watch ADS for some of the lawnmowers. That and the controversies that Popcap and EA have gotten themselves into have just.. I don't want to talk about it.
Just finish PVZ 2, sell a full game version for it for pc & and console and make GW 3 but like... actually gw 3 and not the shitshow that bfn was, it wouldn't even need to have new conent at launch, just bring together everything good of the 3 games prior (for bfn that would be the 3 new classes in some way I guess and the wider upgrade system).
PVZ 2 is fire now, the microtransactions are terrible but very ignorable, and the game is super fun and more difficult than the original, which makes it fun because let's be fr PVZ 1 is laughably easy
Really? I remember back in the day, PvZ 2 was terrible unless you spent money. Big Wave Beach literally made me want to chuck my phone across the room.
@@HazyGray With my experience from it, I got through the base game relatively easily without spending money, with some notable exceptions in Big Wave Beach and Jurassic Marsh. Big Wave Beach was honestly I little overhyped on the difficulty department from my experience but level 25 took me several hours that was hard but also super fun. If you haven't given PVZ 2 a try recently I thought the base game was very enjoyable, although tedious. it's definitely a "play a couple rounds while at school or work on your free time" than it is a "sit down and put your attention to it" game. (Also just finished your video it was very good)
