Surprisingly, most of the things in daycares and were made by the personnel and adapted to the kid's needs and interest at the moment. Helping a child develop through play doesn't need to complicated, or expensive.
Love how this isn’t overwhelming as a first time mom. You don’t have to spend money on these Montessori toys that are crazy expensive. DIY sensory activities is the way to go. Thank you so much!

This was a very great and awesome video! Very helpful and motivating! I can’t wait and plan to try these activities with my 9 mos son . Very educational while yet being fun , useful , practical and easy to find, make and put together . I feel like I have a great array of activities ti take away and keep my son learning and busy at the same time and also enjoying and pleasant for me

This is so cute, brings back great memories for me from when my girls were younger. Pots and pans were a favourite in our house, and banging on the drum that formula comes in! 😍

Such great ideas!!! Could you share your references on the safety of cornstarch for consumption in babies ... found mixed reviews and wondered whether there were safer substitutes for the general public...
otherwise great ideas and love how you explain the benefits of each activity beyond the task in hand.
I can't point you to a specific source, I just did my research and decided what I felt was okay for my child. I think you'll have to just decide what is right for you. I will say that I wouldn't give it to my baby and hope that she ate it.. or as a meal.. it is more TASTE SAFE.
There are lots of different "edible slimes" out there - I haven't tried too many, but if you are looking for an alternative you might try Googling that.

I do typically cook mine for this age because they like to eat it, but it does not have to be - up to you! Since your child isn't really using it as a meal, the kind doesn't necessarily matter, it can be regular, whole wheat or something fancy.
