He probably was. This was his third concert on the tour but his biggest and he stated it felt like a debut. Plus he’s not with Mikey, Ray, or Frank so it probably felt really different.

it's not autotune. it's called a fuzz pedal, which distorts the vocals as well as the guitar riffs it's part of the fuzz rock genre to use distortion in almost everything
Auto tune is diferent of Fuzz, its normal use this to make a dirty and cool voice, the strokes for exemple use it, but the Gerard voice are tired cuz he has D to G tune when u use for a lot of time this tune u looks like tired and the voice fail, but Gerard looks like nervous, he has problem with craw because he has depression, he said this many times, he sometimes get nervous even the studio, the friends calm down him, and now he are doing live shows without the friends.
