I'm an artist..the tree looks like a J....I was thinking about you today..and praying for your hunting trip..so, glad to see you popped up. Blessings to you and yours. lov from south alabama.
Well, you certainly have a varied assortment of talents. I'm glad you can enjoy yourself in no matter what you do. I also enjoy my solitude time in nature. To quote Ziggy..."Go God!!!" You'll have to let us know if your one in a million chance of getting a deer happened or not. I wish you the best luck. Looking forward to your next video and thanks for all the other ones. Oh, and just to let you know...I would never call your breakfast cook an ox, especially a BLUE ox! LOL.
Merry Christmas my Friend. Growing up in Southern Germany after the war there wasn’t much on Telly for Kids. A regular feature was an old guy sitting next to his Kachelofen telling stories of his mountaineering days. Gentle in the “Waltons” sort of way. Thank you for bringing back those memories. Nite nite Patrick
My deer hunting trips are almost just nature watching--squirrels and red headed wood peckers what I mostly see, but when I spot a deer, I'm instantly warm and usually never see the head for antler counts. So I come home with peace and joy just being "out". I don't even care if I get a deer, I just like getting away from the hustle and bustle of life.
You are a lucky man… except for the Deer Hunting part. You are living a good life 👍👍 See you next week back on the job site! Good video…interesting and I enjoyed it very much.

I sure enjoy your videos! you have and maintain a beautiful place! and the tractor work .... well, that's the time i get lost in my thoughts when I am mowing or brush hogging. your deer blind ... id go there not so much as to hunt anymore, but to get lost in nature. merry Christmas to you and yours!
The National Forrest near our house offers Christmas Tree cutting for a $2.00 permit...that was until the Calf Cannon fire that burned everything. Now we have dead and badly burned trees
My Dad was a little unscrupulous when I was a kid, and, you know, later. So I learned how rewarding it was to cut a tree on someone else's property and put it in our house etc.....Because no WAY was my Dad going to pay $1 a foot for a dead CHRISTMAS TREE!!! That would have been like.....$9 bucks!! (We had high ceilings).
@@LifeontheMoose Those look like bales and a half. They're very dry so probably under 40lbs. Your counter balance weight will need to be 5,320 lbs (133 times the weight of your projectile). Ok, I'm already seeing problems with this but I'm here for you! 6000 lbs would be 36 cubic feet of granite or limestone or shale. With dolomite you can get away with 33 cuft but if you want to throw, you know, like a Prius (and who doesn't?!) you might want to go a little over. Note: For full disclosure, if you really want to throw a Prius, you'll need a half million pound counter weight. But again I'm here for you! And I really like to dig in rock.
Merry Christmas 🎄🎁 from Midway, Texas ✌️✌️, May God bless your friends and family !!
Nice video. Mixing this style in would be great. Good luck hunting!

You get it! Same to you.🙏
3:45 and it generally smells a lot better I imagine.
By the way, my dad always said if you want good hunting, the weather has to be cold, snowing, and miserable!
That helps!
😊

Dang. I know the feeling! I appreciate you watching!

5:45 I have never seen nor heard of a Steller's Jay. Must be that "fleeting" tendency. Or I have and didn't know what I was looking at.
I have to 2nd all the comments, very enjoyable, what kinda pocket knife was that ,it looked like a demko or a hogue to me what i briefly saw
Thanks! It’s a SOG.

How far away are those trees from your place in the videos?
Christmas Tree canyon? About a 6 hour drive.
This was all very Dick Proenneke.
How far from the barn do you drop those bails? I'm thinking trebuchet! You know what I mean?
About 120 yards or so, and I do!
