    So basically, Riku has the charisma to charm people. Don't know why Iori and some people pointed out his ability negatively. It's a good thing, but yes, it's true, if it's excessive and not monitored it will be dangerous, moreover Riku is weak with stress.
    What was Ten afraid of, right, if Riku couldn't bear the burden of it. Because the more people loves Riku, the pressure and expectations to Riku will increase as well.
    Afraid, unable and fall. Like Zero.

    • @acutelilmint8035
      @acutelilmint8035 Год назад +30

      I agree. It’s not negative.. and Riku is t manipulating.. it’s because he genuinely doesn’t want to disappoint and he does his best even if it will hurt him. Tenn low key is right.. Riku won’t give up to the point of seriously hurting himself. Riku is afraid of letting down people.
      But that’s the charm he has.. is he’s very hard worker and won’t ask for help when he needs it.

    • @kristin7146
      @kristin7146 Год назад +21

      The concern people have isn't that he's manipulative, it's that he's not aware of his effect on people and if he was, he would overthink everything he does and stress about it. The other piece is concern that other people might want to use him as an 'influencer,' essentially.

    • @miorichan3546

      @@kristin7146 too much pressure indeed. It sounds a little cruel if we say Riku manipulative.. Because he himself had no such intention or was not even aware of his charm abilities.

    My opinion on this episode is, Demon King represent Iori and Tenn.
    First is Tenn, the demon king who's keeping the Monster(Riku) hidden inside a clean cage not letting him go outside as to protect him.
    Second is Iori, who let the Monster(Riku) out but keep a leash on him so he wont out of reach until both of them fulfilled their wish.
    Tenn and Iori was never jealous of Riku to begin with, as both of them is the people who truly know and understand Riku also his abilities. They really did that to protect Riku, so he wont leave them or die.
    It can be interpret such as,
    Tenn: "I do this because I don't want you to die, so please stay put and don't be an idol!"
    Iori: "Please be an Idol, and don't worry cause I"ll be the only one who will told you to sing!"
    Tenn was keeping Riku healthy but not his happiness.
    And Iori is keeping Riku Happy at the cost of his health.
    Buy yes, they need to do something about the Allure that Riku has, so it wont go berserk.
    It's either make him stop or control him.
    PS: Feels like both Tenn's route and Iori's route will lead to bad end as well😂
    Though I was reading the story, I couldn't help but think so...

    There is logic to this, and it can be seen 2 ways.l but it’s not manipulation from Riku.
    Think of keanu reeves.. people love him and want to support him cause he’s so kind and does his best.
    Riku is the same.. even when he’s in pain, he goes 100%.. people don’t pity.. people want to see people succeed. That’s what the guy gets wrong.. people who give it their all with sincerity are dangerous because they can motivate people (but they can be esaily exploited without knowing)

    • @CorgiYorkie
      @CorgiYorkie Год назад +4

      Very true. I feel like the way Iori describes it isn't totally accurate. Riku isn't actively trying to manipulate people, and he has no ill nor malicious intent; it's like Yamato said in another episode. He's hardworking and genuine, and he gives his all (to the point where he'll hurt himself in the process, as not to disappoint/let down others). So, rather, he just simply tends to usually wear his heart on his sleeve and just happens to have the charisma/allure factor to him that's paired with that trait. I get how it can be fatal to the group, for sure. But it's interesting to see how Iori has analyzed it that way, but somewhat misses the mark. He and Tenn are on opposite sides of the spectrum, and both approaches could potentially hurt Riku, eventually, seeing as how there's no happy-medium between their approaches to dealing with the situation, usually. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out, and whether or not it will backfire on them. I hope that it will not, though.

      I think those around him are plenty aware enough to keep that from happening. Also, regular exercise is helpful for people with asthma (even though it's a double-edged sword). Becoming an idol was actually good for his health and why it makes sense that his attacks get less frequent over the story.

      But Idolish7 is a idol anime, so maybe there will be no death. Maybe there will be a happy ending.
      But there are a lot of sad things, angst and physiological matters in this anime. So it is possible that Riku will stop being an idol because of his health.

    What iori said alway pissed me off and shows why he doesn’t get it.
    Are all members working hard? Sure.. but Riku is working even harder cause of his motivations along with health problems. Riku doesn’t really open up about his h is why if he’s seen crying or suffering he suddenly is smiling.. that’s not seeking attention..that’s being self conscious. Riku tried very hard and people can see it, vs other members started just going through the motions.. this is when people stand out.. and then when other members are too busy worrying about others is also why they don’t shine..
    Iori didn’t become an idol for the same reasons.. Riku has. Very strong reason. ..but it’s also his personality..
    It is the same iroi doesn’t really understand why tenn is so good either same with Riku until later on.. Tenn is, indeed doing it for the fans. He really appreciates them vs say the zlol guy… again, different motivations is why people shine.
    Irori later gets better but this was a hung he was dead wrong and said more about his jealousy than Riku,

    • @eryanzt1717
      @eryanzt1717 Год назад +12

      Well for this, I though Iori is just a tsundere guys so he interpret it in such complicated way😂
      Maybe it's not jealousy, since the first time he prefer to be a producer and manager than an idol. I mean the reason he join the agency in the first place is to make Mitsuki Idol. Iori was scouted but he refused if his brother didn't scouted as well.
      Like Takamasa said, Iori was allured by the charm that Riku has and wanting him to reach even upper as a superstar. So even if he need to became the demon king, he will continue to let Riku sing. As he promised to make Riku a superstar.
      But that's what his mistakes, Idolish7 is not a solo, they are a group and he's not focusing on his team except for Riku. He's too blinded by the light that Riku has and make him a little greedy to make Idolish7(mostly Riku) to the top.
      That's what lead to making Riku resemble Zero. And Iori is resembling Takamasa. Maybe Takamasa give them warning or they gonna enters the same route as Zero.
