I first found this song in middle school. Now I'm in high school and everythings so different. First love has started and ended, friends have come and gone. Those long hourly walks I'd take while listening to this song seem so long ago. I hear this and I remember everything I was feeling at that time. The fresh air and the loneliness of my sisters gone. Being by myself for the first time, it was hard. I sometimes want things to go back to the way they were, and for me to go back to the way I was. But I hear this again for the first time in years and I remember I don't really want to go back to those times after all. I'll never meet you, but I mean this whole heartedly- I have no doubt you saved that kids life. And now you're reminding them again of the things they shouldn't want back. I hope you see this, and know you're making an impact. Your music means something, even though it may not feel that way sometimes. Just know that somewhere out there, there is a lost soul hearing your work, and in turn feels heard by you. I love you guys.
