Could not agree more---Spain is amazing! I've been to Italy many times, but I've only been to Spain twice. I deeply regret that and hope to get back there very soon because there is so much to see and I think the lifestyle of a tourist is just so much more comfortable in Spain. They also have a really good network of high-speed Rail which is quite a bit less expensive than most other European countries. The food is fantastic, especially the octopus! The wines are, in my opinion, the best in world and the bars in Spain make it easy and inexpensive to enjoy a wide range of Spanish wines by the glass. The whole bar culture is really fun and welcoming for tourists. You can walk into any neighborhood bar in any town in Spain and feel at home. The only downside is that it's really hot in the summer in most of Spain, but that makes it especially appealing as an off season destination.
@@GregorBrown Italy and Spain are similar Same culture, same environment, weather, economy, way of thinking, of living, same race, WE ARE BROTHERS ITALY LOVES SPAIN AND SPAIN LOVES ITALY
Hi! Gregor, thank you for the inspiring video on Spain. After watching today we started planning a trip for Spain for next spring. You are making a difference!!!! 🇪🇸 ❤️👍🏼
I love all and each of the islands that Spain has. Each has its own personality. One of the most incredible things I saw in Europe, was the Volcano Teide, in Tenerife, Canary Islands.
Yeah, you are right. Spanish cuisine is the second best in the world after ltalia and before the French cuisine according to a panel of international top chefs. Italian cuisine has more variety, and French cuisine more quality but less variety.
Good to visit but not to live. Is a pity that Spain is making the things very difficult for EU citizens. I been trying to get a NIE number and it is impossible after the pandemics to get an appointment to the police´s foreinger office(what the goverment is doing, i don´t really know). It seems that Spain is going back to the stone age, many things are slow, very slow. Traffic is a caos, everyone parking wherever they want, no fines, corners infected with cars blocking the visual security for pedestrians and cars aswell(no 10 meters parking pedestrian crossing rules). They always try to cheat you in some way. I understand that not everyone are like that but, is what I feel personally. I think Spain is still 20 years behind the rest of the developed countries in europe, specially the scandinavia. If we want to live toghether in Europe, the things should be clear and easy for its citizens in all EU countries.
I'm from Spain and I agree, it is a really diverse country with a lot to explore. I've been really locked in since Covid but I definitely wanna get out there more and experience more of what the country has to offer.

MANY great islands in Spain!
Teide is mindblowing indeed. Being above the clouds and still on the land (on the ISLAND!) is just insane
@@Liubomyr7 yeah. A cool side trip when on the island
The best is Gran Canary
Heading there in March for the 1st time. Can't wait!! Sounds amazing!!

I'd say in Europe at least. After returning recently to Asia, eating my way around Thailand, Japan and Singapore - I'm salivating for more!!!
French cuisine is #1.

How is the safety though in the big cities? Safe to walk around?
¿Italia mejor comida?. Definitivamente,no
