I had a huge fight with my bf and we broke up. i was on my way home... from my bfs house. lol i had been crying and i was sad. on my way home. a man approached me and said i looked sad and he wanted to cheer me up. i think he saw my eyes were puffy from crying earlier. he asked me what happened. i told him my bf and i just had a huge fight and we broke up earlier in the day and i was on my way home from bfs house. He said come walk around the city with me and since i was feeling sad and felt like i needed a distraction. i agreed. so we walked around the city talking for 2 hours. talking about life, and music and we ate mcdonalds for dinner and he was kind enough to pay for my meal. after dinner i told him it was getting dark and i should go home.. i don't know his name and never got his number. he never tried anything. he never asked for my number and i never asked for his. i think he knew i was emotionally unavailable because of the situation with my BF but the memory of that day lives on forever. it was one of the kindest things a stranger has done for me during a moment when i was very sad and lonely.
Totally. And the gold of history people are passing by everyday without realising. Living in a very small town that doesn't really have that many preserved historical buildings, or any place that carries such heritage I am so impressed by all of those streets and that atmosphere. Europe is truly an amazing place to be.
He's so lucky that he found a beautiful, kind girl who granted his wish to experience the same thing the lead character in the movie “Before Sunrise” experienced. Just thinking about the concept has made me so amazed!
