The promise of ashes is the sandbox. They need to copy paste fill in the tropics with unique gatherables. Glint should be what you fill the rest of your caravan with, not the main purpose. Hauling a load a rare resource from one biome to another is the great risk reward we are all looking for. I'll add, this game will not have a "meta" because one class will be stronger in one part of the world whereas another class is stronger elsewhere based on the resources available and what is easy to craft. If they focus on the sandbox, players will stick around... But the sandbox currently is one demential and does contain enough to sustain a playerbase.
i mean we get the sentiment, but this is early alpha 2 and a lot of the systems havent been fleshed out yet, we assume at some point there will be more dimensions to the systems that we already have in the game :)
What's the differences between maps? Do higher rarities just spawn more circles and is the loot based off what kind of kit you use to yank it out of the ground?
the higher the rariety of the map the more gold it can yield and the higher quality of raw maaterials it can yield (novice,apprentice,journeyman) :) you can also use common kits on uncommon,rare,heroic,epic,ect maps im not sure if this is intentional or if its a bug yet though
The guild I’m in is lowkey about to break apart bc we have no freeholds or anything But I also experienced the same caravan teleport bug except I was in sunhaven.
