I noticed there were some Jane and the Dragon episodes missing on RUclips (at least in good quality). Since I recently got all the episodes, I figured I could upload the ones that weren’t posted here so other people could enjoy them as well.
Disclaimer: I don't own Jane and the Dragon. It is owned by co-producers Weta Workshop (as Weta Productions) in New Zealand and Nelvana Limited in Canada.
I like how the queen is portrayed here, graceful, kind, what's more, she isn't dead!
are you telling me she dies?
Exactly!😂
@@itzmedb8290 nope, and that’s great!
@@itzmedb8290 no but with the danger that she puts herself in at times, it's a wonder she doesn't.
What u talking about?!
Smithy's little smiles always warm my heart. As the quiet, levelheaded one of the bunch, I always loved seeing Smithy's expressions of emotion. I also love how much respect he has for Jane's father here.
The texture of the animations and backgrounds makes it look like an old painting. Gosh, this show had so much potential. The story is pretty good too

After 1 season is was cancelled wow.
@@b_f_d_d It's too mature and well developed for young kids, which is why I think it wasn't as popular as other shows. Sad.
Ere your you been
Agreed
This episode is so sweet, barely get any parental stories in the show, unless its the king spoiling his children xxxx
Jane’s lucky to have a father who loves her so much.
Agreed. I love how in this episode we see a different side to her father that is easily missed in other episodes - espacially by Jane herself! He has a special kind of intuition and backbone which the other staff admire, but, until now, Jane doesn't really know about.
This is one of my personal favorite episodes. It was adventurous, suspenseful, and Jane’s father proved himself the mvp of the castle, as well as a hero. Smart short-life indeed.
man after rewatching this much more grown up, i never realized how a savage jane's dad is against the merchant xD
Well the Merchant is a jerk and a thief
You know a scene is gonna be good when Theodor and Ivan are part of it, and this episode just proves it by having them play a game during break. Shows they are somewhat of close friends.
It makes sense that they'd be friends; they even say in a different episode ", on the jousting field you fight for glory; on the Battlefield you fight for your colleagues," they've probably fought in many battles together...
This is one of the best kids shows to have ever exist .
11:24 That part never ceases to make me laugh!!!!
Yeah LOL!:-) :-) :-) ;-) ;-) Ah ha ha ha ha ha!
I agree. I did not know that's what those two do in their spare time. LOL
This is honestly one of the best shows ever out there for kids. I'm 34 and I still luv it. Great animation , great movement , great dialogue, great comedy and physical humour, beautiful character with an awesome dragon, awesome concept , I really wish there was a ton of more episodes
The creator has begun posting chapters to a Jane and the dragon novel online. Janeandherdragon, books name is dragonblade
@@fridalighjemdallen7283 that's a pretty cool title for a book. I wonder what it's about
Same, I'm 28 and still think it's entertaining!
this episode is extraordinarily memorable for me
When I was a child i had the dvd to this and would re watch all the episodes over and over im 16 now (still a child lol) but im so happy its on here, all my friends have no idea what it is while im living the best life watching my favourite dragon be a sarcastic lizard ahaha
11:04 OK that is creepy. Do not want to be trapped with that.
Or like that…
I used to complain when this show would come on Qubo as a child. I found it boring but as I’ve grown I’ve also grown to appreciate and love it. I am an adult and I watch Jane and the Dragon frequently as a comfort show. The stories, the characters, voice acting, and animation has my heart. ❤️
I’ve been searching for this show for 4 years cause I watched it in 2012 when I was 6 oh my gosh the relief and nostalgia
This episode scarred me for 2 years but I also thank it since this show made me a furry
thats not a good thing you just turned into a loser
Does anyone else notice that stuff in Dragon's cave on Smithy's right 16:46
I miss this tv show it was the greatest series I've ever seen and Jane and the dragon is my favorite best friends couple
11:11
Will always be my favorite moment
Check out my comment XD
My favorite scene
best episode yet.
I found it funny that two grown knights like to play with toys
i am binge watching these episodes
Me too, yet I must watch more shows!
Me: hears ‘secret tunnel’ within the first few minutes
Also me: 🎶Secret tunnel, secret tunnel, through the mountain🎶
Pitfall traps for unsuspecting individuals to slowly bleed and starve to death. Intentionally. As punishment for theft. Assuming whoever falls in is actually guilty of anything.
In a wholesome show for kids! :D
11:10 my friend's mom hears arguments
11:24 my friend's brother and him playing battlefront
Lmao
This episode scared me as a kid
Tbh I feel like Jane's dad if I was dad
12:21 Theodore is GOAT giving fatherly advice to another father
It's really good for parent's to protect their adult children 🐈❤️🐕

@@snowbird1381 that might be possible.
@@morganrussman True and to make maters worse because of Weta Workshop's tight budget there was never a conclusion to the franchise where other dragons were found. Kind of like how in 100 deeds for Eddie Mcdowd Eddie didn't suceed in changing back from a dog due to low ratings. When franchise series don't have final chapters with what we're hoping for it's a blow. :( Oh well some series could have been cancelled at a worse case. Example: The series of Jumanji may have been cancelled and Alan Parrish could never have found out his clue in the game and gone home' but he did. :)
@@moatguy4471 weta workshop? Is that the studio that jane and the dragon used to be produced out of? It does stink that we never get any answers to certain questions we have, such as to if there's any other dragons, or what the ruins in dragons cave mean, or what the whole story that we hear on the intro is never seen, where Jane is a lady in waiting but trains in secret to become a knight and where cunthburt is kidnapped by dragon to discipher the ruins in his cave thinking cunthburt can discipher the ruins. Ok, I admit that last one is something that I would like to see but know that it'll never really happen.
@@morganrussman "Is that the studio that jane and the dragon used to be produced out of?" Yes.
Jane and the dragon
damn she has a sharp toungue
What and who do you mean? Jane?
11:05 jesus that's a little disturbing
I KNOW RIGHT I ALWAYS THOUGHT THAT
Yeah, I Know. X(
Anyone have any idea if they sell Jane and the Dragon DVDs?
+XDanW They do, but it depends on where you live. If you live in the US, they only sell two DVD's, each with five episodes each, so you only get about 10 episodes out of 26. You can find them on Amazon.com, but they didn't finish releasing all the DVD's over here. But if you live over in Australia, New Zealand, Pacific Islands, ect., they've released all the DVD's. So you either have to live there, or get an Australia DVD player, cause DVD's have built-in coding that will only allow units from that region to be played, if that makes any sense.
it's on itunes and bell has it free on demand
@@calijuliedaisy When you mentioned about the DVD player, unless you happen to have a region free DVD player.
NOSTALGIA ❤
At 11:59: Even Sir Ivon Mackay knows that Dragon would do anything to protect Jane.
Happy late fathers day 🥰
16:43 - 16:49 What are those in the background?
I would assume those are all the things that Dragon has collected over the years. One of them looks like a dragon mask from China, so maybe it's from his travels?
It's Dragon's hoard! :)
When his nose glowed like that I look back at how to train your dragon when toothless stormfly and the other dragons did the low flame ability.
To be completely honest I think smithy is more worried about you sir 😌
Okay that sounds terrifying dead people send shivers down my back 😬
had an add for big mouth, on the video of a kids show ? XD
24:15 - (clapping music)
I never seen this show before
11:05 rated PG everyone
24:16 - (drum music)
I've never even glanced at any of the books, how does the show compare?
I can’t speak for all of them, but the first one is pretty good. It tells the story of how Jane and Dragon met, and how she became a knight
@@calijuliedaisy The Dragon's purpose is a good one Dragon is still adapting to being "accepted" and isn't sure what his purpose is, ifvm he's not "scary" anymore
He finds a nice balance at the end of that one - I've not read the others after book 1 & 2
I am so almost finished with this show! This however has nothing to do with this episode.
drinking a mega sized cup of copium that this show will be remade
16:45 Even as a kid I always found that pile of colors in the background weird... some kind an animation error maybe 🤔
So, why exactly did Gunther’s father have Gunther remove half the salt out of the casks?
He is a greedy cheat
Get them to pay for the first lot; Get them a 2nd installment at "half price" and make a profit of the 2nd half or sell the 2nd half to someone else and make double pay on one lot of stock

Lexi And The Dragon 2023
dose anyone wanna role play as dragon? :D
I wish I had seen this sooner. I may have taken you up on that.
I’m 2 years late, but I would really like to!!!
Why anyone would give this wonderful kids show a thumbs down is beyond my comprehension. It is one of the best children's show I have ever seen. Simple as that.
agreed. any others like it?
I completely agree it's so annoying that so many good children shows are thumbs down because of lack of viewing or the lack of product being sold when it has a such a good story plot and people pretty much enjoy watching it just for the fun of watching it
Someone needs to renew this series!
Unselfish Service Theater i plan on doing so some day 😃
but it migth not be as good ☹😔
@@mcruz1858 Same where for renewing the show. Can't decide if I either pick up where it left off or have a time skip since the last episode.
@@luishernandezsoto
I think on picking up where it left of and then after that i wondering abou how other dragons whould look like when dragon meets them and unlocking the runes or at least see if mabe janes sword could someday fly off and summon dragons
Oh and if you know of anyone who dose recreate the show pls tell me
@@mcruz1858 @Luis Hernandez I think you guys should remake it, but do a prequel movie about how she met the dragon (basically, taking the theme song and making it into a film).
I plan to do that in 2021
9:24
Dragon: Jane?
Jane: Yes?
Dragon: I drank a lot of water before we came down here.
Jane: And...
(Dragon blinks his eyes)
Jane: No! Not in here!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I literally just figured out what dragon meant whenever he would call them "short life".
I never understood as a kid.
What does it mean? I’ve only just started rewatching.
Imani, your right in a way. I do believe that he refers to the idea of Jane and the others have as short of lives as they Do and that he will outlive all of them several times over. I don't remember what site I read it on, but, I think I remember something about that the show took place somewheres around 800 to 1,200 AD, and..... we all know (or, I would hope so) what was starting up right around that time. The uh... bubonic pleauge.
@@StealthMode3924 dragon is 300 years old and will live to roughly 3,000 - even with today's tech and life expectancy dragon would outlive humans by several centuries so with human life expectancy being roughly early 30s to late 50s in medieval times he'd view humans as being little more than "short lives"
Jane: "We are not alone down here..."
9 Year Old Me: * screams *
Man, it was a little too much for me at the time but I love it now. This show was amazing.
i miss this cartoon
Itzel Ortiz as do I
Gunthers dad is such a menace. No wonder Gunther has foul moments.
8:31 theres an animation glitch! Bottom right, you can see the sky outside!
Its called a hole in the wall
Ohh nvm scratch that sorry
Huh, didn't see that until you pointed it out,
and I've seen this episode half a dozen time.
Without her father’s closeness with the king due to his position in the castle she wouldn’t have been able to do all that she does. Especially be a female knight in training. 🥺
And don't forget her mother is the governess to the royal children
This is the only epie I hadn't seen before. Thanks for uploading it!This is the only episode I hadn't seen before. Thanks for uploading it!
6:26 That music always gets me😔😔
I love this show so much especialy the opening soundtrack! I cant believe i found it on youtube, thank you for uploading this masterpiece.. this so nostalgic for 25 years old me oh god🤣
"The merchant provides our masonry for the castle repairs. I have learned more than I care to about weak second rate stone" *drops the rock he was holding (might as well be a mic. drop)
Jane's father is a savage
11:23 is funny lol
10:42 Jane: Dragon dragon we are not alone done here
Dragon: what
Also dragon stands up immediately to protect Jane
Also dragon: come out come out now right where I can see you
I do NOT remember the show being this good
I’m tryna have my kids watch this
This is my favorite episode of the show
this show is cool
I read that there's a scene where SMITHY talks about his father abandoning him. Does anyone know the timestamp?
Nope. Not this episode.
It's the episode where they talk about home.
Where Jane and Gunther try to polish the most shields to carry the royal banner.
At 11:23 I’ve always laughed when I see Sir Ivon Mackay and Sir Theodore Boarmaster playing with toys and at 11:29 how they looked at Jane’s dad all awkward
When Jane looked around in the new tunnel for something cool or something how did she not see the dead skeleton like idk if she looked around to good
Ohhh Smithy, gaining points with the father in law I see...
true

Gunther’s father kind of looks like Ivor from Minecraft StoryMode, if let himself go a little.....too much.
Does she say pinch or bite
Are you talking about the theme song? Because it's pinched, I think supposed to mean kidnapped
You're probably talking about 0:18

I f***ing Love this show. It's so classic . I can watch it every day.
I gotta respect jane's dad seeing how we archive and list and relist requirements
I remember watching this show when I was like 5 or 6, who knows, but it was a great memory.
What Jane father job in castle?
He’s the Chamberlain-basically he’s in charge of managing the royal household
I do nearly the same

8:30 this room is rendered seperate from the cave in this scene rather than keeping the original new tunnel in the original cave
addition: i mean u can see the outside skybox on the right
11:38 they have recreativity.
