When Jeongwoo sang the high pitch to the lyric "goodbye", he was using a vocal technique called belting. In belting, he used a mix of his chest and head voice thus the result is a louder and more powerful sound compared to if he only used his head voice or perhaps switched to falsetto.

we used to be confused about jihoon's vocal skills, he never showcased his vocals that much and was praised by his dancing skills instead, some said that jihoon was a sub vocalist, some said that he's a lead vocal, some said that his voice was low, some said that he can reach higher notes, and then, here we are, he reached 2 high notes and proved to be a skilled vocalist. it is satisfying to be with them while they write their story from the beginning.
And that's my bias since I saw him in stray kids survival show 😘😘😘😘

Also, I think this group is one of the few groups in Kpop to have 8 out of 12 members able to make it to a main vocal tier and hit high notes so cleanly. Treasure is a group that all the members are very very talented. They all good in singing, dancing and rap (for the rappers off course). This WAYO version is freakin amazing!!!!!! My takeaways from this cover:
Bang Yedam is indeed Bang Yedam. His runs. His adlibs. His falsetto. His emotions. No more words are needed to be said. This kid is vocally GIFTED.
Jinhoo is a revelation (to me, at least). I keep repeating his high notes @ 2:40. His vocal support is really amazing.
Jeongwoo's low registers are shockingly good. The quality and texture of his voice are really attractive, and he isn't even in his prime. Just imagine when his voice matures with his age.
Mashi is that sweet vocal touch that isn't all consuming but gives as much impact in the blending department. I can't get enough of his calming and subtle voice. 3:16 deserves a repeat.
Junkyu definitely has a lot more to offer, vocal-wise. I love for him to develop his techniques more because his voice is seriously amazing.
The harmonization is flawless. Best part for me.
Now, I'm looking forward to the version of Yedam with the rest of the vocal line. Actually, even the rapper line.
