    Weasle, can we do some analysis of your previous picks - i cant fight sleep but i can see value in bets and do well by looking at the non technical stuff ( fight week, weight cut, MMA gods, gut feel) - so it would be great if you analysed your picks, what went as predicted but more importantly, why fights went different to how you thought, for a punter, that would be gold. charge money for it whatever but seriously you need to do this review as it will round off alot of our understanding of factors and how much weight they have,

    You are kind of overlooking Petre Yan's ability to finish fights. He always win by TKO or KO. He beat all of his last opponents by KO, or TKO. Hs even TKOed Jose Aldo. He would have TKOed Aljo Sterling if he didn't throw the illegal knee. I think he will win via TKO. Corey Sandhagan is very weak to basic wrestling. @@alexincobra7379 Cory’s fight against Aljo was very short, I cannot call that a domination. Cory is super slick on the ground and seemed much too calm in his fight with Aljo. With a fire lit under him, he’ll be hard to hold down on the ground despite possibly being easy to get down there.

      @@MrJacobiusMaximus That doesn't make is sound better. Corey may look slick to you, who haven't been exposed to kickboxing, but to us kickboxers that shit is average. All those spinning moves he does with no set-up is easily countered. Chinese fighters like to throw those and I have never been caught once out of 35 of my fights. Those are easily countered by duck/ check hook, duck/ double underhook, or duck/ clinch sweep. Remember those guys in his highlight reel were not exposed to high level kickboxing or high level boxing. I trained in Muaythai in Thailand and while I was there, I only met 4 Americans, out 120 that were in my class. The rest were Germans, Swedish, Norwegians, Icelanders, French, with Australians and Russians being larger bulk of them. Americans rather spend vacations in the the Caribbean or Western Europe. You don't learn fighting going to those places.

    I suspect Yan will use his sambo to ground and pound from the feet. Guys who don’t do well against American wrestlers are usually totally lost with the weight distribution and angles used in sambo. He won’t be able to pick up enough in training camp to close the gap there, so I assume he will go all out on connecting a bomb from the distance. However, he then finds himself on the Sterling Island, of either having to finish it or finding yourself gassed and in deep water in the fourth and fifth. It’s so easy to see either thing happening that I don’t know how anyone puts a dollar on this fight

      @Habib_Osman 3 года назад

      Depends fully on Sandhagen's work from distance. If Sandhagen can stick a stiff jab, throw nasty legkicks etc, there is not much Petr can do. The moment Petr can get close, he's gonna swiftly chop up Sandhagen. Petr's striking is too precise.. too violent, he's gonna chop this frail little stick called Sandhagen.
