Been riding MTB for the past 10 years. Started road cycling this year and I rode my road bike along the green corridoor in a heavy downpour. It was hella fun. Gonna try to see if I can get my rim brake- roadie into T15 trails one day.
Quite funny to see you on some challenging tracks, but you did great! never knew these tracks existed so i'm more excited to try them after i've recovered from being ill. Great video as always Jasper!
There's a few mtb trails here. Chestnut north/south, bukit timah, T15, Kent ridge. Mostly in the west. If you're new to mtb I would suggest T15 first. A simple hardtail is enough
If you've actually seen them, in person, you'll know they're below "Green" in almost all countries. A toddler on a Strider could cruise through these. These guys just aren't very good riders.
Love your channel! Most fun spandex cyclist in sg :) Was waiting for you to ride track 15 in your gravel journey.... Soon you will upgrade to a flat bar, make friends with the mtb uncles and they show you some "vip" tracks!
As much as I enjoy your videos and you exploring trails, it’s never wise to post non-official trials on social media. Your friend being the season rider, should know which is legit and which is not. Explore, enjoy, stay away from Park Rangers, and remember to keep the videos private. 😊
Yes, some of those features are sketchy even for hardtail MTBs. You should try riding a full-sus on the same features and you'll see the difference. It might also help you judge and pick your lines better, which will help a lot on your gravel bike.
@@el_guapa I would disagree with that. Firstly, I did not state that one needs a full-sus bike to ride T15, I only mentioned that it will give a rider a different perspective compared to tackling it on a hardtail or even a gravel bike. The second part of my statement, which mentioned that riding a full-sus may help riders judge and pick better lines - I meant it in the sense that a gravel bike rider will understand the limitations of a gravel bike vs a hardtail vs a full-sus. One must first experience something to gain understanding, no?
Hey 100%! Everytime I see MTBs rolling through I’m extremely tempted to get one. I’ll save up and get one I guess 🤣 also have to prepare more space in the house.
actually, the main T15 path, should be called a gravel trail, with the significant paved roads installed over the natural paths, over the years. It is not a mtb trail.. never was for the last 8+ years.
Ah... T15...fave running trails. NI macam XC lah not gravel. Shhh..... dont tell ppl about Knnburi J...its a mystical land where XC,MTB ,gravel and trail runners feel free J. Any hooooo another Banger JT.
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS GUYS!!
FACTS: MTB's who go to road bikes have generally way better handling skills than roadies who try to try to go the other way.
But roadies have better fitness
@@jeremyemilio9378 LOLOLOL
100% bro! Learnt a lot just being in the trails
@@jeremyemilio9378 but MTBiker's have more fun!
You ride road for the fitness, you ride off-road to have fun.
Or, keep things simple, why not do both lol.

Haha that sounds epic! Let me know how that goes! Hahaha I already feel it’s super sketchy on my gravel so wondering how it’ll feel on your road!
Impressive doing these on a gravel bike man. Enjoy the trails!
HAHA thank you! Probably had a death wish…
Wow what a vid! Such a HIDDEN GEM 🔥🔥
Thanks brah!! Glad you enjoyed it as usual!
when a roadie calls T15 sketchy 👁👄👁 everything is relative i guess..
🤣 I know sir…. Long way to go in bike handling
Guys, that's not a sanctioned trail. Please 🙏 keep it under wraps or risk enforcement coming in and spoiling it for everyone
Yeah.. luckily OP never show entry points to w.f.... Best "non vip" pirate trail in T15 🤐
I’ve ridden the Bukit Timah circuit on my Cannondale Slate, I admit it felt like I was being a bit mean to it.
Yeah I can imagine! I felt the same - but at least it was fun 🤣

Thank you!! Yeah it was pretty fun though. Merry Christmas and recover soon!! Have fun in the trails too
i thought singapore only had trails in pulau ubin the whole time

love this stuff Jasper!! Cannondale Scalpel joining the arsenal next?? keep pushing your comfort zone :))
Thanks as usual bro! Haha I’m thinking of it - but at the same time I do want to do gravel events!
Those mtb tracks are considered green trails difficulty 1 out 5 in my country but nice trails in your beautiful country. Kudos for riding them.

Thanks bro! I’m a baby! So new to this whole thing and bike handling in trails are so different
Great video man!! I too have a gravel bike can enjoy with the nature more! But still would prefer a MTB over a gravel because of the ride quality
Thank you bro! I agree! Hahah actually really thinking of getting a mountain bike to see how it really feels.
Those roots are death traps 😅.
😂🥵 yeah they are! Unless you have low PSI or suspension
A monday upload from Jasper? Letsgoooo bosssss💥

HAHA thank you bro…you have to try, on your road 😆😆😆

If you need a "full-suss" to ride T15, then give up riding.
