our old Standard SOF-16E making noise from its age

I'm surprised this still works since this is my second family's dining room fan, I wish to see more of these old models!
I cleaned this fan with toothpaste to give it a shine, then I took this.
This is running on its lowest speed, rise the speed and the noise vanishes even on max, its capacitor is still good so it still reaches top speed without flaws and struggles.
