  • I've condensed 6 days of work into a 15 minute video. Micromosaics or Filato mosaics are they are called more correctly are an antique technique from the 1700s in Rome. It requires the artist to melt glass and pull it into filaments. I often make my own colours. In this video you see me cut black to then add to the whites to get greys for this daisy.

    Very beautiful work. Stunning. That looks like some kind of roman putty. Is it? Where do you buy it from please?

      I make my own roman putty! it's a slow process. It takes 6 months to make.

      Sorry, I'm just seeing this now. I make my own putty. It's a 6 month process!
