Tips for Learning the Step Turn on Roller Skis

The step turn is the only way you can change direction on roller skis since you can't do snowplow or other skidded turns. It is also handy way to avoid patches of rough road and or gravel that may cause a fall. Here are some links to getting started on classic ( • Getting Started with C... ) and skate roller skiing ( • Use the athletic stanc... ) if you are just starting out. Step turns are most easily learned on skate roller skis but can also me done on classic roller skis. Thanks to Jenex V2 roller skis and Rossignol clothing for their help with this video.
