Thanks for the info. I wonder if the ground could have somthing to do with the key not being able to program. I was in the process of taking the computer out and saw your video that helped me alot. You are so right about that ECM being difficult. I am going to ry the ground issue before i buy the computer. Nothing online about this Hybrid. NOTHING!!!!
Thanks. I also have a 2012 Ford Fusion Hybrid that is having battery problems. Where I bought the battery the store said their notes indicated that the system may need to be reprogrammed with a new battery. You obviously didn't and didn't seem to have any issues.
Thank you for the video sir. I have a question please. What is usually the cause for one of these Fusion Hybrid stalling after 15 minutes of driving and then refusing to start for 15 minutes?
I have a 2010 ford fusion hybird is starts up but turns back off will not start back up for a while then does same thing start and turn back off hybird battery meter is on the lower side so was wondering if should replace the hybird drive battery any helpful advice on this would be great
Thanks for the video, one correction though...regarding clean up of grounds you mentioned using dielectric (non-conductive) grease which doesn't make much sense, I'm thinking you meant conductive grease. Thanks again.
I have a 2010 Ford fusion 3.0 liter and it cranks but won't start. I had a 02 sensor bad code and then a catalytic converter code but now it won't start at all. It dies. I changed the ground and I'm at a loss for words.. ..
I have had this same problem with my 2020 FFH since last winter. It started after it was parked for about a week in the snow. The only thing that would make it "start" was a jump from another car. Portable Jumper's didn't work. I had Ford Service look at and they ended up saying that they found a disconnection somewhere and charged me over $500.. the day after I picked it up, it left me stranded again. Clearly, Ford charged me for work they didn't do. I continued jumping my car until I found another mechanic who came to my house. He scanned it and took it for a drive while plugged in to the scanner and it didn't turn any code. Everything was fine. Then Spring time came and I noticed the car hadn't done it since the temperature got into the mid 70's.. I had the coolant flushed around that time. But, it happened again 2x when the weather got into the 90's. Idk if the grounding is affected by the weather but I am hoping it is since the mechanic who saw it last actually suggested to clean the grounds saying some times snow can cause corrosion and such, but I was skeptical and didn't do it. Oh, and jumping it only worked in the cold weather. When my car wouldn't start again recently I tried to jump it like before and it didn't work. The only difference now is the weather. I sure hope this is the problen because I'm about to pull my hair out! I scanned it today and it didn't turn any codes. Wish me luck!
@@towuniverse2443 I'm glad to report that the mechanic found where the problem is/was.. he was moving things around and when he moved the fuse box around the car started. It clearly was a dirty or lose wire in that area. Maybe both. He clealed everything around it and I haven't had the problem since. 🤞🏼
I have a 2011 MKZ -- the car won't start at all... the grounds look entirely corroded... will try to remove and clean them-- soak them in baking soda and water. Called my local dealer to try to replace them and was told that there were no part numbers for these grounds...-- One ground -- looked like it would be more than just a universal replacement. IN your video -- no corrosion is visible at all. On my car the end terminals are "green" with corrosion. Battery was replaced a few months ago and the car was running fine until it was parked Sat. night... and since them -- no start. Any idea about whether some of these grounds can be replaced with universal grounds??
I have a 2012 Ford C-max Energi. Hyrbrid and it has a problem with the Hyrbrid system. Will the Hyrbrid system problem stop the Gas combustion engine from starting ? Lights come on inside of car but, car will not crank. Any idea. Thank you

Intermittent door lock position switch can trigger immobilizer. Always look for immobilizer light on dash on no start cars!

Your wrong dielectric grease is excellent for terminal connections, many more technicians would use it if they knew more about the product.

Where are you located I have a car with a issue like that and I probably want to take it to you
My car won’t even crank. And none of the lights will turn on. How much is a battery? & how much would a diagnostic test cost
Diagnostic test free at autozone or o'Reilly. Battery price is in the thousand range
