The red plastic door panel is a 73-79 Ford truck.
That aluminum panel is a tailgate trim panel for a Bronco.
That gas tank is a Mustang tank.
That air cleaner is for a 400 V8 with a 2 barrel carb. The "V" is for venturi, not valve like newer vehicles. A 2 barrel carb has 2 venturis.
Those hood scoops are the 69-70 Mach 1 base model hood scoops. They were also used on the 68 1/2 Cobra jet Mustangs and 68-69 Torinos. They are correct for the hood that's on your Mach 1. But they aren't the correct one for your Mach 1. Your Mach 1 came with a shaker hood scoop. Which is a engine mounted scoop and very expensive.
I would carefully check thru all those parts. And don't junk any of the parts. If you don't want them some one else might.

Good finds.... The door panel missing the Carpet, is probably the one missing off of the Drivers side door that is on the car ....and I'd say the scoop with the broken front fin that has the 351 emblems on it was the one that was on that hood...
Your dad was saving those up to use as replacements on the car...
Probably junkyard finds... That's what we had to do way back when,,, Long before the Internet.., you only had Junkyards and ads that were in magazines or the JC Whitney catalog...And sometimes you could still get replacement items from the Dealer,, but they were expensive...
DO NOT get rid of anything out of the shed,, until you can go through it....There could be other items that he got for the car,,, I thought I noticed some Door rubbers on one of the shelves, and those Engine blocks, Heads and other assorted parts are items that you could possibly use later when you have the motor rebuilt.....There might even be trim pieces or other bits of hard to find items for the car,,, just keep your eyes peeled for them...Will save you lots of money in the long run.....

  • @93jake81

nice find!! the 2V/4V on the air filter housing doesn’t mean valves. they actually mean venturis, which are a main part in how a carburetor works. so a 2V air filter housing is for a 2 barrel carb (since carbs have 1 venturi per barrel) and the 4V is for a 4 barrel

6:38 The 2V on that air cleaner stands for 2 barrel carb. Treat all those painted parts gently, they're worth a lot of $$$$. Your shed is an absolute treasure trove. 9:40 Those door panels can be re-covered and brought back to brand new condition. Also, the gas tank in your shed is definitely for a Mustang, but I'm not sure for what year, and it also looks like it has never been used. When you open the trunk of your car, you'll notice bolts in a square pattern around the floor pan, maybe a dozen or so. Those are the bolts that hold the gas tank down. Remove those bolts, and you'll be able to lift the gas tank out of the car. There was a lot more in that shed that could be used on your Mustang too. I would be willing to bet that, between the shed you showed us in this video, and possibly some of your other out-buildings, you're going to find most of what you need to restore your Mustang. If you need to replace any of your cars sheet metal, look for parts made by Dynacorn, they're probably the best on the market. They can be found on a lot of sites like cjponyparts, yearone, and of course, their own web page, shop around for the best pricing. I have only watched this video, as well as the one where you started the car, so the only metal that I can see that definitely needs replacement is your floor pan, and maybe the trunk pan. Hopefully the body is in much better shape than the paint is, but if not, you do have a lot of options.

Your Grande parts should fit just fine on the car, but Grande was a trim level of the Mustang, basically a luxury Stang whereas your Mach 1 is a performance trim level with multiple engine options, etc. The Grande parts are worth some money, but I wouldn't want them on the Mach 1 since it's not original. If they were mine, I would clean them up and sell them to get more Mach 1 stuff! Keep going, you got some good momentum!

Welp, now that you have the mustang running, I guess it’s time to get on the body. That will be the biggest hurdle you’ll face. Sand it all down good, weld in sheet mettle where it has rusted, fix that hood, then prime it, sand it again, and paint. Excited to see it transform

Man I react the same when I found parts for my Nissan Junior that my father save like 30 years ago

Looks like the shead has all of the parts your dad had got for the mustang and all the engine parts as well. I would say the gas tank you found is a new one for the mustang.

That gas tank looks just like the one that came out of my 66. Betting it's a new one for your Mach 1.
