one of my relative makes awesome methi seeds sabzi and she adds dried dates and raisins in it for the sweetness. over the years ive eaten methi seeds sabzi in a few different ways. one with besan and yogurt but it is cooked a bit thick like Maharashtrian Zhunka. in Gujrat Kathiyawadi style where they sprout the methi seeds for a day and make a very spicy variety. Another Maharashtrian way is to cook it in a gravy of peanuts garlic and green chillies. goes very well with Rice Bhakri / Jowar BHakri. overall a very healthy sabzi.

This methi daana is very good for people with blood sugar issues. Can also be made with roasted onion and coconut masala ground with roasted whole garam masala. Kokum is used instead of imli. This is given to new mothers in the first couple of months

Chef I belong to Rajasthan and eaten methi ki sabji many time but here in Rajasthan no one use garlic and onion in this veg . And it's very famous veg in Shekhawati region
One of my colleagues used to bring this Dana methi sabji in his lunchbox. And that's completely different from what you just cooked in the video. Whenever he brought Dana methi in his lunchbox. We used to exchange with each other's sabji. I think her mother used raw mangoes with Dana methi. That reduces the bitterness of dana methi in sabji. Like we use raw mangoes in bitter gourd.
