I never got the true ending for this game, just the standard one. That extra cutscene at the end doesn't seem worth the extra work to obtain it. Some of those levels are just not worth fighting the PS1 jank to replay and 100%. That said, I'm glad you took the time to get this and share it with us, because it was fun to see. I loved this game, even though there are a few levels I'd be ok never replaying again. Again, thanks for posting.
How fitting would it be that the pumpkin boss (Ellis) you fight here.. be the baby pumpkin from the intro cutscene? Because for the longest time when I played this game wayback when.. I had no idea who this character was
Just hooked up my old ps2..everygame works except this one..the audio & opening scenes..pluse the extra hint while waiting to "start game"...so pissed too...they are selling for crazy prices now
Back when I was a little kid, I used to play this game on PlayStation, but the true doozy was how I accessed it. And that’s described with one word, “Unintentional”. I’ll explain that as I go. When I brought the supposed Jersey Devil game album, it was not supposed to be that at all to begin with. Nope. It was supposed “Sonic X” game, back then I didn’t even know such a thing could exist. I remember seeing Team Sonic on the cover as well as Rouge the Bat at the back. It was then when I placed the disc in the controller that instead of seeing a cutscene of the blue hedgehog that I just started familiar with, I saw the completely unexpected cutscene involving the eponymous devilish protagonist. Man talk about poor packaging…
24 years later i FINALLY get to see the ending of this game
i want a remake of this game so bad
Shit me too
In 2019 a remake of this game would look off the hook
Same here I never got to finish this game thanks to it getting lost...sigh...
Einhander too
Ngl..this game give me chills when i was a kid..especially when u died and the dark blue hole with creepy sound gave me heart attack
I looked everywhere to see this again, had no idea anyone else felt the same as I did about it as a kid.
Same. It's good to know I wasn't the only one that felt that
I loved this game and very much remember playing it as a kid.

i was disappointed that the ending didn't had an animated cut scene like the intro had.
The final battle of this game and Crash Bandicoot are like Ganon fights from Legend of Zelda where you deflect the projectiles back at him.
Striker Beedrill I thought of it as Koala Kong (attacking with the boss’s own weapons) and N. Brio (Green potions are used against the boss)
Finally I see the end

Once I meant to rent Super Punch Out from the video store but inside the box was R-Type III.
I couldn't beat this game because it froze when I reached a far stage. Never played the game again unfortunately, I know I could have beat it lol.
Interesting; never played this game. Kinda looks like Spyro.
Retromancers - Retro Game Let's Plays and Reviews I recommended it, my childhood game
When games were hard just because the controls sucked
One of my childhood favorites that I never finished because PS1 discs scratched so easily, thus where my hatred for disc media spawned from.
