Yvonne, I haven't commented before but I have to say something about that gorgeous crocheted bedspread!! Don't just get rid of it. There are people that would love, love, love that. I would but I can't afford it but someone will want that. I'm calling it a bedspread because it is sooooo huge. I watch both of your channels and I really do love watching you. I am a displaced Yooper living in Georgia so I do love watching Michigan people!! Thanks for listening!❤️ I love your beautiful hair!!😊
I have one of those bedspreads. Paid over $100 for it. Don't get rid of it. I looked for years to find it. It is perfect for summer and on my bed right now.
I could never be a reseller, lol. I would get so overwhelmed…you guys are pros thats for sure. I enjoy watching your videos, I just don’t understand how you buy everyday and are able to sell enough to make a living, lol. So you can see, i could never do what you do.❤. The vacuum system was a God Wink.
I might have said this to you before, you are so fortunate to have a partner that shares the same interest as you! And really the stuff we love! The more rusty the better 🤗
Yvonne, you have said that you want Chris to make you a farm table...that barn door is perfect for a table. It is similar to one I got at auction. Hubby made me a beautiful table. Take apart the boards, plane them, use a joiner and biscuit them together!! Good luck. Love all the Shiny Brite treasures.
Wow, those two shop tools alone were definitely a "God Wink" !! When you know you know, and this auction was a real Knowing for you and Chris. Isn't God's timing just amazing? Here y'all are moving, and will need these items. God is just so so Good!! Great score for y'all. Thank you Lord for blessing Chris and Yvonne! Now Lord, please let their home sale so they can move even further ahead into what you have planned for them. And all the people said, Amen. xx
Yvonne and Chris ~ I don’t even know where to start…WHAT A GREAT HAUL !!!! Again, I was drooling on my IPad ! The STONE FOUNDATION IN THE BARN…… Be still my heart ! Our basement walls are like that…LOVE LOVE LOVE ! I wish the ceilings were higher than 6 1/2 ft, I would make a room down there. LOL!!! But so damp. My husband does have his office and ALL is little Tractor Collection in gorgeous lawyer cabinet shelves in the newer part of the basement. How silly to LOVE YOUR STONE WALL IN THE BASEMENT…But I do ❤️ THOSE DOORS ❤️❤️❤️ The one looked like wainscoting! How I miss our LIVE Auctions and walking around ! I think my excitement was almost as high as yours Yvonne! Everything …. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Great haul. Just fyi....I buy the small 4 wheel carts/trollys on sale for like $7.00 at Harbor Freight and take off the wheels. They have and small carts and large carts for different size wheels too. Super cheap and pretty sturdy. If you want to list that table cloth I'd be interested.
I kinda agree with you. There was some junky junk but you always manage to find the good stuff. And who can pass up a dollar or two boxes. Those are some great deals. Chris finding that shop vac was brand new. I bet he was excited to get that. When I saw the box with all the metal I just new you were gonna get it. Lots of cool stuff in it. Especially those bed springs. I’m looking so forward to see the video at what your idea is to do with them. Ive got 4 of them. So you know I’ll be there watching. Love that barn door. Unbelievable you got that for $2.50. That’s a steal. It’s always fun going to the auctions with you guys. ♥️♥️😊👍👍🌟🌟
Oh Yvonne, please show us makeover on ceramic tree! I' m super curious! Will it be white, will it be rusty, crusty? Love thermoses! So what, no lid. Stick fancy silverware in teapot. Wooden spoons, mashers, gadgets. Green wood handled items would look nice with yellow. Throw some greenery in it. Want to see what you do with spring also as I bought 2 at $1 ea.
Love. Love y’all . I am interested in the crocheted bed spread/table cloth. It looks like it is made from cotton which can be machine washed. In fact, The more often they are washed, the softer and more beautiful they become. My father grew up on a farm, worked for his dad as a home builder & ran his dads sawmill. When he went to college in the early 1930s he became a registered nurse. During WWll he worked at a military hospital in Washington DC. After the war, he took care of a wealthy gentleman at night, who lived in Chattanooga TN in the summer., then Miami in the winter. Being a hands on craftsman, he could not just sit at night, while he read a lot to pass the time, he needed to do something with his hands. So he got a book an learned to crochet with the beautiful fine cotton thread. He could not find a small crochet hook to purchase, so he made one out of a wire coat hanger. Over those yrs working nights after the war, he made 7 double bedspreads, 4 table cloths and many, many doilies. His work was perfect and beautiful!
I absolutely love vintage Christmas decorations. You did good, I’m talking really good. Those last two pieces for the shop was a really good deal. I can’t wait to see what you do with the finds. I was thinking, I’d turn that tea pot into a planter. I found one last year with no lid, did a Christmas arrangement in it and it sold before the bazaar was open, lol.
I've always wanted a set of those post office boxes but they always go to high. I love selling shiny Brite and yes you can sell the empty boxes. Thanks for sharing the haul.
I absolutely love everything you got. I'm surprised you didn't get the pictures and and creamers and stuff too cuz they were white and some teapots. But I still love everything you got. Those shiny bright boxes sell for a lot of money. Great buys. Thank you for sharing
You aren’t the only one with a hoarding problem!! Wish I could conquer mine! I love the excitement in your voice! You could make anyone get excited. You did good on the little box of rusty/crustiest! The $45.00 vac system is great. Congrats!
Your dollars went a long way! That was a great score! The locks in the rusty crusty box would be great for folks who make bird houses. I did it for years for friends and family and I spent a fortune on those things. LOL
Fantastic! So many great things :) So happy you got a steal on the dusting machine. Chick, I hope you do a video on some of the things you bought soon. You guys must have hound dog noses trained to find great treasures 'cause ya go right to them :) God Bless. Hugs. Rebekah
Oh my goodness! How fun! ! You both made some awesome buys! I miss going to auctions. I don't think they have many near me. Everything is done on- line. So sad. There is nothing like the " excitement" of the auctioneers " patter"( for me anyway) so enjoy it while you can Yavonne, it's a dying " Art" ! Anyway, I also wanted to add just how beautiful you are! When you have that little black hoodie up over your hair ,you sure do not look like you are at 50! (Actually, anytime, just more- so because it makes a person focus on your face more??). ( I know, sounds weird coming from another woman...lol, I'm not " odd" just wanted you to know you are a stunning woman!..and I wanted to tell you! (No weird stuff intended lol) Just one " Michigander to another"...whatever....anyway, thank you both again for sharing!
I mean it, please I can send you a check or money order, plus mailing...please I want that tree soooo bad.....please, pretty please, sugar on top and honey on the outside??!! lol, that always worked when I was a kid...lol
I would love to know if the crochet item is a bed spread or curtains if you still have it. You dont have to be in a hurry to check it out, but if it is either one, I would love for you to give me a price. Thanks
@@GingerChickRehabTheJourney I will watch to see if it sells. I think it is beautiful, I dont have a dinning table anymore . I might could do something with it. Maybe make 2 valances out of it. I need new bedroom window coverings. Thank you for taking the photos. I couldn't really see where the stain was. Maybe it would come out. It actually looks whiter than when you showed it, if you laundered it, thank you.
would you sell the ceramic xmas tree to me? Please?? I already know what I want to do with it, in my area they can't be found...I am serious....please sell it to me....
It was ok to make the fact of the condition of the home but it went on and on. You don’t know who or what the situation was there and I think you were kind of mean up to the end. You are lucky to have family. They clearly did not at the end of their life. Please remember, not all situations are perfect. It made me sad at the end of your video and empathized with the people who owned the beautiful home.
That crocheted piece looks big enough to maybe be a bedspread!
Yvonne, I haven't commented before but I have to say something about that gorgeous crocheted bedspread!! Don't just get rid of it. There are people that would love, love, love that. Oh.. I get it. The more you have to offer one to buy. The more your able to sell. Sourcing items is huge for a reseller 🤗
I might have said this to you before, you are so fortunate to have a partner that shares the same interest as you! And really the stuff we love! The more rusty the better 🤗
I agree!!..wish my husband did!..makes for a great partnership when you have something in common
Yea! You were able to get the old door!
I love that crazy barn door! So different. I think the crochet item is a bedspread, not a tablecloth because it is so big and heavy.
Ive seen those post office boxes turned into banks
I just love how excited you get about “a little itty bitty shiny brite box” Your enthusiasm is contagious!
😁

See..I knew there would be those who would drool over those amazing old features. They just done have that kind of character anymore.
Great haul. Just fyi....I buy the small 4 wheel carts/trollys on sale for like $7.00 at Harbor Freight and take off the wheels. They have and small carts and large carts for different size wheels too. Super cheap and pretty sturdy. If you want to list that table cloth I'd be interested.

Wow you really got some awesome buys-
Especially the dust collector and air circulator. Your new shop will rock. Chris must be over the moon.😂
Spied those ‘shiny brutes’ in the barn! So glad you snatched them up! Love all your finds. So glad y’all got filtration things at God wink prices!❤
I can’t believe I actually got them
Excellent finds! It was so fun watching you go through all the boxes! Amazing deals on those tools! ❤
You’re so fun to watch with your excitement finding rusty crustys !!
Great finds, I love going to auctions. You really scored big time.

Wow, amazing haul, great prices. Look forward to the many transformations!
Great pickings nice finds so much fun to watch you in action! ❤
I'd use that ceocheted piece as a coverlet instead of a tablecloth. They're like an old fashioned "weighted blanket," plus they're beauteous!
I wrapped my shiny bride Boxes in cellifane and used curly ribbon put it under my tree with my childhood ornaments.
I've always wanted a set of those post office boxes but they always go to high. I love selling shiny Brite and yes you can sell the empty boxes. Thanks for sharing the haul.

The ornament in the red white box is a Steinbach and they can sell for pretty good money.
Thank you
You aren’t the only one with a hoarding problem!! Wish I could conquer mine! I love the excitement in your voice! You could make anyone get excited. You did good on the little box of rusty/crustiest! The $45.00 vac system is great. Congrats!

Agreed

Fun video. You look adorable in your rain gear. Wish we had such great auction spots where I live. Thanks for sharing yours!
