Great job! I had 9 hrs of instruction in a J5-A Cub years ago, didn't end up with the rating (it was at an away location), tailwheel was a hoot! Insurance was a dream killer tho! Yikes! I think that's one of the reasons I think about UL planes 😂
Thanks for the nice comment. I did some training in a Aeronca Champ. The AirBike is easier to land. I think because you are right next to the ground when you land so it is very easy to judge landings.
@@AirBikeNC That makes sense. I am pretty sure I could've got the rating, if weather and work had worked out. I have mild cerebral palsy on my right side and my dexterity isn't the best with my hand. it's fine in side-by-side seating like my 172, but in most tandem seat planes the throttle is on the left firewall and the CFI wanted me to use right hand for stick and left for throttle/mixture, I had a wrist brace, I was getting there. Oh well. Still, the insurance tho...yikes!
Nice to meet you and thanks for the kind offer. I think there are plenty of options for you. FB is also a good resource...many different groups for various ultralights and options.
Awesome job.
