I guess ....... the 3 male lions are The PUNKS ( Mohawk, Axel and 😹) from Mwamba pride .

The only thing I really really hate when a coalition takes over is when they kill all the cubs, I understand why it's done but, I still hate it 😔🦁🦁🦁
there is no good reason for it. They could easily allow the young to grow into adults after taking over the pride and just father the NEXT generation of cubs. It would probably be better for the bloodline in many cases to allow some of the previous male's cubs to grow into breeding lionesses. The lion kill out of pure instinct, but I suspect that it doesn't always happen. I would bet that many times the cubs are allowed to stay and grow up in the pride.
Sometimes they dont kill the cubs but its very rare for the arriving males not to kill the cubs.
On an off topic, how is life in Italy? This is very disturbing pandemic

it depends on the individuals. If the youngsters are particularly aggressive and pugnacious, they can easily take over with their 3:2 advantage and their youthful vigor. The old ones have experience, and the probable fact that they are also highly aggressive. Sometimes old male just conced the pride and become nomads again. Other males will fight and die to keep their pride and their territory.
