- ‘Social’ media has been presented as the modern solution - sold to us as a cyber hack of connection. While it certainly has its uses, it allows for a connection that occurs only within the mental arena, while our physical selves remain alone in our living rooms.
Rediscovering our connection to humanity means moving beyond the illusion of ‘social’ media, where connections often feel shallow and confined to screens. The true work of meaningful connection is done in shared spaces, where more than words are connecting us - creating a space where true intimacy can occur - even if that means just touching an arm, holding a hand or sitting together saying nothing at all.
So, instead of just liking, sharing, or commenting online, let's pick up the phone and make plans to meet face-to-face. Look into someone's eyes, connect with their soul, and start consciously creating meaningful connections in our lives. It is in this way that we will look around one day and realise that we are no longer alone.

Thank you, I was feeling terribly separated/ isolated last night drowning in my bitter cup of sorrows until my mind gave in and I just fell asleep after being up for two days (couldn’t sleep…the mind you know?)
Praying all day and all night but still no relief
Then I woke up and grabbed my phone -no ever calls but it’s a habit

Kevin. I get yr pain and i experience the same pain and suffering as i feel i can not relate to people around me. They apparently consider me Crazy and they seem to think our world is just as it is supposed to be i want to be me , but hate feeling lonely and seperate ❤❤😊.😢

There are a lot of lost birds out there, those of us without community or people to belong to. There's a word in Cymry (Welsh), hyareth, meaning a place you long for but have never been to or even know where it is. That's been my life.
Some of us, like myself, are loners and content most of the time to walk alone. Yet we still need connections along the path from time to time.

I looked this up. It's actually spelled, "hiraeth". It says a Welsh word that is like missing home and like a feeling of grief, like something has been lost.

A great message for us all to deeply consider - "Re-Member". We come from different tribes/families/community. However, the beauty is in the differences. The learning is in the differences. We shouldn't be afraid and act tribally - e.g., left or right politically, this faith or that one exclusively, this ethnicity or that one as superior, etc.
