I’m scared if I make one of these imma look ugly af, any girl I’ve met says I’m better in person than my posts on social media and what not. Looking at such morror is just like facing reality.😅 That kind of mirror doesn't lie. In the end you just need to accept what your seeing and make something unique with it.

hot mirror, cold mirror, surface mirror, monochrome mirror or dichroic mirrors*
*maybe you look only good at one spectral frequency band ;D

What mirrors did you buy to make this?
Two Way Mirrors does it become normal over time, I assume the first time is crazy because Your gonna see yourself in reverse to the mirror, like every imperfection will be exaggerated for the first time as if your have a slight asymmetrical nose the the right it will shift to the left and throw you off? But after a week or so are you starting to accept it as a normal imagine like your mirror image and therefore the mirror becomes the strange part?
I've started to accept it over time, initially I thought I was crazy...now I know I am!

How to get those two mirrors and How do i join them permanently?
You can order the glass first surface mirrors here: www.twowaymirrors.com/first-surface-mirror/ , & to create a permanent bond you will want to use mirror mastic glue or VHB tape and something to hold it in place. The best way is to create a frame that holds the two mirrors together. You could also use L-brackets.

Well basically, we all see several times in life how other people see us simply by looking at a photo or video from us..that´s also non-reversing..we don´t need a "true" mirror for it..the strange thing for me personally is: When i look at photos from myself, i have a kind of ambivalent feeling, because on one hand i think, that i basically look good (kind of between ok and handsome), but on the other hand it is a strange feeling of disappointment...
That's a good point! You don't technically need the true mirror to see your non-reversed image. There's something about looking into mirrors that's mysterious and intriguing, seeing the movement as you stare into your own eyes.

I do have a question actually . Does the size of the mirror affect the reflection? Like if these mirrors we just 1.5 inches tall reflecting off each other , could I still see myself?

I’m way too high to process this right now. Just the wall decoration tripped me out, I thought it was an illusion. Then the mirrors part... when she was TEACHING US, I couldn’t comprehend it. This made my trip better. 😵😵

I would argue that this technicaly is a reversing mirror, as it takes the input and reverses it to you. Instead of taking the input and showing it back exactly the same.
Mirrors don't reverse text. You reverse the text when you show it to the mirror.

Yes, you can simply do that in a photo editor if you don't need it in real time.
Keep in mind that won't likely be as good for capturing your "true" image, due to camera focal length. Likely other differences between the camera and your eye that I don't know about as well.

Yes, but it has a coating on top that eliminated the double reflection you often see in normal mirrors.
Regular mirrors are non reversing, they are just reflecting light. You are just perceiving it as such, because you see the picture from the position of your point of view and not the position from the mirror itself, which you would be at if you would look at another person.
For example with a regular mirror text on a paper is reversed, because you actually flip the paper. If you would not flip the paper and use something transparent instead, the text would be readable.
The one reversing is actually the "True Mirror" via a double reflection and thus giving you the view that you would have if you would look at a person.

True. not exactly. Mirrors don't reverse anything. However, people's faces aren't text letters. To see it how other people see it, requires a "true mirror". i.e. vsauce shows the texts bleeding ink through the paper. doesn't make much sense to say the same analogy to if our skin was "transparent". yes mirrors don't flip anything, but people see others differently even though they're not "flipping".

$250 is cheap for the engineering and complexity of creating an adjustable True Mirror

know I'm complicated, but answering this question could change my life. I moved in the mirror and I was able to look at the mirrors directly as real mirrors without looking to the right or leftI. looked in the middle , but my face has noticeably enlarged, so I want to know the size of your face in a position when you look to the right or left or when you look in the middle.

Stupid question but my bathroom mirrors are medicine cabinets that are in 3's so if I open the 2 side ones and stand in it is the somewhat middle weird looking reflection a "true mirror"?
It has to be at a perfect 90 degree angle. If you can get it to do that, without causing a gap between he mirrors, it should work!

At nano level we had doted of negative shadow each is size 3.33 ×10^-43 m and if an active passive mirrored will show us two image one is light and the other is shadow of light or spirit that is why we had three time lines for each that is 6 times line then the middle is the joining of the two so 3×3×3 is 27 dimension

a quick question ... do i have to look directly where the mirrors touch or can i just point one of the mirrors at the other without them having to touch each other? ps- point with one of the mirrors at the other to the point of being able to read the letters on my shirt normally
Great question! Yes, you have to look directly in the middle, and when reflecting text your eyes will automatically focus on the main reflection with the correctly oriented text. Must be human instinct to do that.

It would still work, but the reflection quality would not be as good. There will be a double image.

trivial . I tried this experiment with good lighting and a high height, I mean the height of the mirror, and I looked good, but... I tried this experiment again in bad lighting and the mirror was low, my face was ugly and I wish I had not done that😢😭

A true mirror works because it uses the first surface mirrors--they have the reflective coating on the face of the glass, while a regular mirror has its coating on the backside. You can turn a regular mirror into a first surface mirror using paint stripper, check out our video on it 😄

bro thats not how it work you inverse the mirror with your eyes as Vsauce said!!! To run an experiment get a piece of paper and use a marker that will bleed and write text and it will be inverted. So basically a mirror is what others see whilst if you flip it will be what you would see from your perspective like 4d or some crap.
Yes, the mirrors combined at a 90 degree angle inverses the image compared to what you normally see when looking into a mirror. 😊
