i get it. seeing them as just teens building up their audience going to shows in baltimore with 100 people if that. definitely a different vibe for sure
I think it would be an amazing experience seeing this very young band growing up and playing in a room of 80-100 people somewhere in Baltimore, several years later you’re seeing them on these huge festivals or concert
I cant believe atl were releasing songs when I was in kindergarten when I am in college now and their next album is coming out soon. It must be an insane experience to be a fan that was there in 2005 and is still a fan. These guys just constantly amaze me with how many great tracks they have and how long theyve been around. Discovered them when I was 15 and no doubt their music will stick with me for the rest of my life
I was in 5th grade when this album came out. Their music will always remind me of pool parties and carefree summer breaks. When adult-life gets to be too much, it's really nice to be able to time travel by putting on music from this era.
this was my fav album of them, and I considered ATL as one of the most progressive bands of those times. the first bad sign was nothing personal 2009. stopped listening to them after dirty work 2011. I was disappointed they went so pop and basic. have no clue what they're doing now. probably nothing changed. but these first couple of albums were brilliant
I remember downloading a whole bunch of songs from The Party Scene (and also from The Three Words to Remember in Dealing with the End) back in 2005/6 on Kazaa/Limewire not knowing it came from this album or who ATL were really were. All these songs were on my old laptop. It was only several years later when the albums became easier to get hold of that I realised where these songs came from! Very nostalgic listening to these songs!
I remember going to a show and getting an emerald moon records CD.. with this all time low song, and circles... and a ton of other bands... what I wouldn't do to know those bands and songs... this was like 2008 or earlier maybe
That was the 2005 Emerald Moon Records Sampler. Came with the demos to Circles and Noel. Lots of good bands on there, my favorite compilation was From the Land of Pleasant Living. That came out in 2004
All Time Low - Noel - Lyrics [Verse 1] Think about it 'till anticipation makes you shake And we both lose control Put the pedal to the floor Lay the seat back lock the doors We're gonna make this worth our while It's getting harder to breathe [Verse 2] Jealous hearts will leave us all in ruins That's what we'll say That's what we'll say As we hide out from your friends Hear the message once again Let's get this right Let's get this right [Chorus] Your lips are a hot flame baby And our chemistry is kerosene [Post-Chorus] Take it off Take it all off Maybe we can get down and burn up in the heat [Verse 3] Times like these feel so dangerous When you know you're gonna find out How right it feels How right it feels To ignore the ones you love the most This can't be right This can't be right [Chorus] Your lips are a hot flame Baby and our chemistry is kerosene [Post-Chorus] As we kiss to the sound of your stereo Don't say a word I won't say a word [Bridge] Don't treat this like a secret Just keep it quiet while we know That we could tear best friends apart With all the lies we've told [Chorus] Your lips are a hot flame Baby and our chemistry is kerosene [Outro] Take it off Take it all off And I'm lost for words When thoughts don't compare In this town
alex doesn’t have an ex-wife. he’s married to lisa. and if you did mean lisa i think the fact that her middle name is noel is just a coincidence. i don’t think it’s actually about her.
Noelle & Circles 100% should have been included on Put Up Or Shut Up
what i wouldnt give to go back and experience this All Time Low
Well I like all ATL. I think modern is pretty good too
XtremeAces I mean of course, but I just can't help but wish I had experienced this in real time
Lol yeah I get that. That would be great haha

I was always into punk even before I knew what I was. I hate it that it took me 16 years to discover this band

Was in 4th grade when this album came out, discovered them at age 15 prior to 8th grade and by 9th grade became a huge fan of their music.

All Time Low - Noel - Lyrics
[Verse 1]
Think about it 'till anticipation makes you shake
And we both lose control
Put the pedal to the floor
Lay the seat back lock the doors
We're gonna make this worth our while
It's getting harder to breathe
[Verse 2]
Jealous hearts will leave us all in ruins
That's what we'll say
That's what we'll say
As we hide out from your friends
Hear the message once again
Let's get this right
Let's get this right
[Chorus]
Your lips are a hot flame baby
And our chemistry is kerosene
[Post-Chorus]
Take it off
Take it all off
Maybe we can get down and burn up in the heat
[Verse 3]
Times like these feel so dangerous
When you know you're gonna find out
How right it feels
How right it feels
To ignore the ones you love the most
This can't be right
This can't be right
[Chorus]
Your lips are a hot flame
Baby and our chemistry is kerosene
[Post-Chorus]
As we kiss to the sound of your stereo
Don't say a word
I won't say a word
[Bridge]
Don't treat this like a secret
Just keep it quiet while we know
That we could tear best friends apart
With all the lies we've told
[Chorus]
Your lips are a hot flame
Baby and our chemistry is kerosene
[Outro]
Take it off
Take it all off
And I'm lost for words
When thoughts don't compare
In this town
This song kicks ass!
I'd sell a limb to have even a bootleg physical copy of this lol just high enough quality
Same
Lowkey might make my own lol
I want this CD
Omg. High School
this is about Alex's wife
Valérian its not. Lisa said it herself that its not about her.
Taylor OBrien Did she? Noel’s her middle name, so a lot of us just made the conclusion.
Kyle Henry yup! She's made posts years ago on her twitter about it. Still love this song though! So good.
This song is about Alex Gaskarth’s ex-wife
He doesn’t have an ex wife?
Current wife*
Alex recorded this at 17 so how could it be about an ex-wife? Also, he has only married once and is still married.
