Back in the mid-80's a friend of mine went to a big circus in Atlanta Georgia, and he bought a pit pass so he could wander around in the back behind the scenes, and he came on some train cars that had animal cages on them, and he noticed that they had lions and tigers in cages together, but that the jaguars were in cages only with other jaguars. My buddy asked the animal keeper why that was and he said if you put a lion or a tiger in a cage with a jaguar it will kill the lion or the tiger.
@@maelsam38 ~ Oh, so you know more about it than the animal keeper who Barnum and Bailey hired to oversee animals worth millions of dollars. Lions and Tigers have a bite pressure of 800 lbs., whereas full grown male Jaguars have a bite pressure of 1500 lbs. So go figure. It's the same as why Pit Bulls can kill dogs twice their size, because they have the strongest jaw pressure of any dog.
@@jimyost2585 You're delusional if you think a jaguar can take down a male lion or tiger. First off, jaguars have the strongest bite force for their size (pound for pound), but in terms of absolute strength, both lions and tigers outdo jaguars by a significant amount. This is because lions and tigers are about twice as large as the largest jaguars. Also, in a one on one fight between felids, bite force matters very little. As long as the bite force is strong enough to quickly take down the opponent, it doesn't matter if the bite force is 800 lb or 1500 lb. Either one will get the job done.
@@beastinfection638 ~ No, you're the one who is delusional, as you purport to know more qbout it than the animal keeper who was hired by Barnum and Bailey to oversee the care of animals worth millions of dollars. SMH. The reason why Jaguars are the superior cat in the cat family is because of their jaw pressure. Lions and tigers have a bite pressure of around 800 psi, whereas a full grown male jaguar has a bite pressure of around 1500 psi, It"s the same phenomenon as why pit bulls can kill dogs twice their size; Next time before you run your yapper, you should do some research first so that you won't come off looking stupid as you have done here today.
I found your channel while searching for Hyenas, and now I see you are very near me hahahahah Nice footage dude, cheers from Campo Grande - Mato Grosso do Sul

what video camera do you use?
GH5 and its great.
What about the amazonian jaguar and the pantanal jaguar they're both the same size?
no
I think I’ve read they are bigger in the pantanal given the more abundant and larger animals such as cayman and capybaras.
A onça pintada (jaguar) é o terceiro maior felino do mundo, e tem a mordida mais fortes entre todos...(a onça parda é menor)👍
the amazonian jaguar is much smaller
Can i use a part of your video?
.....VIM VER O QUE O POVO FALA!!
jagoyur jealous relation no no
