He thought how he could help his coaches get into the spirit of Christmas. A smile spread across his face. Riding along the rails, the children began singing a Christmas song. It was Thomas' clever idea. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer had a very shiny nose, And if you ever saw it, you would even say it glows. All of the other reindeer used to laugh and call him names, They never let poor Rudolph join in any reindeer games. Annie and Clarabel apologised for not sharing the joys of Christmas with him. "Don't worry," tooted Thomas. "Everyone deserves a second chance." All were merry and bright. Merry Christmas, Thomas. You're a Really Useful Engine.
