WHY NOT A MULTI SPECIES MIX ? NO LEGUME'S ? OR RAY ARCHULETA'S CRAZY MIX !
The native grasses (orchard grass, fescue, clovers, etc..) come back up through the Barley later in the spring. The reason we overseed with Barley is it will grow all winter, gives an earlier start to our grazing season and is cheap.
