Positive peer pressure is a powerful force to be reckoned with, changing the culture and attitudes of students, that what I am going to poor more of my efforts into.

Clearly not a bad presentation if they're making that big of a difference. This was only a glimpse into only half of their impactful work. I can vouch.

Who teaches the students who teach the other students? Why are the teachers out of the loop? Students who teach students without adult supervision misinform others. I'm a Certified Florida Health Educator not a P.E. Teacher; my certification was taken out, not P.E.. Now, P.E. teachers are tasked with teaching health, before it was a Health Science Teacher.

Each school has a faculty sponsor that oversees the students and the program. Each faculty sponsor and the peer health educators are trained by HIP staff. Students across the country are no longer receiving any health class...they only get PE.

Thank you Val; please ensure that in future talks that that is stressed. We don't want audiences to get the impression that students are just teaching students without a qualified facilitator providing training and supervision.
