I've wondered if it would be possible to set up a CB radio relay between the east and west coast. Maybe a relay that could get a message regardless if there is "skip"... 🤔
While that is hard to pull off, we did it back in the early 90's with local dial up BBS's One would call another that called another and in 24 hours or so the messages reached across the globe with no long distance charges. CB is certainly able to do the same, but it would require a lot of planning.
Some of those older things like REACT etc went beyond the USA. A lot of the newer stuff has become USA only and a lot of the material doesn't even appear to acknowledge those boundaries. I find that off, being so close to the US border, as most Canadians are (even outside the Bermuda err Toronto triangle).

Not sure how to send pictures in this app. But I would if I could :-)

In the event of something big happening in this country, the last thing I’m worried about is the fcc rules. They never had any business getting their dirty hands in there to begin with. I think 333 is a great idea, but everyone knows about it. Meaning, even the bad guy. Easy to find people’s location and take advantage. If possible, make your own group, keep it secret, and yes use code words regardless of what the fcc says. Do you trust the fcc? Do you really believe they have your safety in mind? Why would the fcc be so interested in controlling speech and outlawing things like code words? Could it possibly be because they want to know everything? I really can’t stand it when people promote the fcc or try to encourage other people to bow down. Sorry but this is still America, we still have freedom of speech and nothing, including any laws can take that away. Do what you have to do. Stop being brain washed and think for yourself. Certainly make your own plan. Use common sense.
I have very nuanced politics. Some Left, some Right. Just about everyone I come across that has critical thinking skills also have nuanced views. BTW, I take these prepper issues seriously.

The CW is right at about 25 WPM. I’ll try to listen a little harder and decode it.
"DE RFR GN ES GOD BLESS THE REPUBLIC 73 SK. Translation "from RFR good night.......... best wishes / Going off air" Used fldigi to decode the CW." jmatonis
Thanks!!
Dang I was just about to put this up. Took me quite a few replays to copy it all and you've already put it here. Good Job!
@@Superacerc Thanks but it was jmatonis not me.
They evidently have been doing this for a long time because I have heard it before and never knew what it was
I am always that last to know things
Thanks for the info. I never really thought about our good friends to the north being left out in the cold.... Get it?
@@FarpointFarms hehe. I'll have to look, what about Alaska? Hawaii? Puerto Rico? Those are pretty long hauls for any reliable comms except for Amateur or boosted CB.
sounds like there revisiting that old civil defence 640 and 1240 on the am dial stuff
In a way yes. I like the idea for sure. The issues will be how quickly they are taken over by radicals, or... Feds posing as radicals.
Thanks for this video. I've never heard of the 333 plan.
Glad I could put it on your radar!
Cool transmission, great idea
I thought so too. Let's hope it catches on.
Cool had never paid attention until now I will get on board also thank you as always! 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Any time! This is something interesting that people might like to learn more about
What is "channel 3"? Like on a TV? I have hand-crank AM FM SW WB radios, but I'm expecting to just monitor all frequencies all the time, especially at night, for something like what you're saying here.
Channel 3 on channelized radios like FRS, MURS, and CB.
@@barneymm2204 I definitely don't have channels on my radios. I'll just have to stick to tuning around until I find something.
@@barneymm2204 As my research continues, I'd need a CB radio to access this channel 3. Now I need to figure out the right one for SHTF.
I have many videos on my channel to help you with that journey. Good luck!
@@jamiesmith4293 An AM rig with Single Sideband will give you the most options right now based on the recommended frequencies in the plan. I have a McKinley, but I'm sure there're others. As the man says, check out his CB vids.
Have you ever done a video on crystal radios? I recently made one and I bet it would be a good shtf radio. For an example I am in mid-coast Maine and I have picked up AM radio stations between the west coast and BBC from England.
Funny you should mention those. I have a crystal radio that I made and was thinking about making a video on it.
@@FarpointFarms I'm looking forward to seeing it if you do. I've experimented with a couple different designs and wiring configurations. My current setup seems to work best for me. It's basically one long coil with an antenna on one end and ground on the other with the diode and resistor with the crystal earpiece. I used two tuning rods to utilize the whole coil. Not sure how to send pictures in this app. But I would if I could :-)
@@FarpointFarms my seven-year-old son is absolutely fascinated with the fact that it takes no power supply to listen to them : -)
@@FarpointFarms I almost forgot. I also made a variable capacitor out of a mailing tube paper and aluminum foil for some additional tuning.
If I win the FM station, that is a sure thing on my FM station, already a plan or my HF
Love the beach picture!
Seems like, they are keeping those frequencies occupied.
Part 15 stations can, and often do run 24/7 as would any commercial band station. Mine has been running on 1670 for 24 years now!
Cw message is as follows.....De RFR GN ES GOD BLESS THE REPUBLIC 73
from DE VE3TYA
Thanks for the info!
Thats cool. Never heard anything like that.
Certainly was news to me!
Thanks, I did not know about this.
glad I could let you know
Would this include channel 3 of the Citizens Band?
Yes!
Another interesting video. Maybe more will pop up now.
you might be right
Maybe someone can explain to me what the difference is between this 333 plan, and what AmRRON is? They seem to have a similar mission.
BTW, The code at the end is:
DE RFR
GN ES
GOD BLESS THE REPUBLIC
73
SK
😅 wow that code read is really something "God Bless the Republic"
Ya ok , see you never know who's listening or what they know ,
But yes I believe in the 333 plan
I belonged to an Alert group awhile back now patrolling the highways for accidents & anyone looking for help , it seems to have been shut down and not active but if anyone were to start up another one in this area of Eastern New England I'd be still up to belonging to it thanks for listening ,I'm also an avid CBr and FRS owner ,,hope GMRS owner very soon too
I too was part of a react group back in the day. It's a shame most have gone silent.
I will look into
It is interesting
This wasn't broadcast on "Broadcast FM" frequencies as stated in your video. These are mostly HAM frequencies, PMR, MURS etc.
According to the person that sent it, It was broadcast on 95.7FM
Great information.
Thanks for watching!
Now I am aware... Nice 👍
Great 👍
The Frequency for 2 meters using the [333 Plan] is 146.420. FM Analog.
Thanks for the info!
Who sang the song in the intro of your video?
That would be Marky Shaw. The song? "The official Farpoint farms theme song".
Good to know
It is interesting
def. test transmit so people know they aren't wasting their time monitoring.
It's a good plan.

Great! I was wondering what it meant.
Sharing this one. Could be helpful.
Awesome, thank you!
Thank you for sharing that- I am sure that many people agree will agree with this
Quack!
He recorded it WITH, not “off” his phone.
Yes.

thank you
How did I not know this?
It was news to me as well!
I have very nuanced politics. Some Left, some Right. Just about everyone I come across that has critical thinking skills also have nuanced views. BTW, I take these prepper issues seriously.
We are alike in this.
Fascinating
Indeed!
I am central time zone. What time zone dose this or these have on ch3 - please?
Your local time.
Yup. As most emergency situations are local in both scope and needs, just go with the local time zone.
Everything people do cooperating with each other works, but we need to go back to basiccs for when real communities existed.
agreed
Very good video.
Thank you very much!

DE RFR GN ES GOD BLESS THE REPUBLIC 73 SK. Translation "from RFR good night.......... best wishes / Going off air" Used fldigi to decode the CW.
Thanks sir!
I guess the first is a 3 tone short message and don't know the meaning, maybe "begin transmission/message"
It was a song. I had to cut the songs out of the transmission as I didn't want to deal with the copyright monsters.
👍👍👍 soon looks like radio communication is going to be the only thing to use get batteries ans solar power and amplifier
I wouldn't doubt it. Sad times we live in.
What's the name of the song in the intro? 🙂
The Official Farpoint Farms theme song.

Thanks for the info!
I done my best to decode the morse code. It seems to be (DE RFR MN ES GOD BLESS THE REPUBLIC 7)
Thanks for sharing
My wife and I always watch your channel and today we learned something that we were unaware of. Thank you.
Glad to hear it! Thanks for being fans of the channel.
Commsprepper YT channel has a lot of this info.
I'll take a look. Thanks!
So was the end of the communication Morse Code, and if so, has someone deciphered it?

@@barneymm2204 FLDigi isn’t too bad. I used my head and played it a couple of times to get it.
That’s an RTTY signal. You can FLDigi to try to decode.
Outstanding! I've heard of the triple 3. Now I get it. I'm a newly licensed GMRS user and will start monitoring this
Glad to hear it!
