in your barn base at 30:00 you can build on the second level but only if you lay down prone, same goes for placing objects and opening doors will also need to be opened while laying down, took me a while to figure that one out!

I never watch people game ever, despite gaming lots myself. These stories are amazing haha. Usually I just bumble around alone in Dayz and have never even built a base, so this is sweet to watch.
Most of the time I’m double tapping my screen to find the raid parts or the pvp parts (on all RUclipsrs) I watched the whole thing start to finish and didn’t even notice it was over an hour long, out of the 8 years of me playing/watching this game the most enjoyable video yet!
wish I could get a good crew together like this, I'm always stuck playing solo and its fun and everything but to survive on modded servers you got to have a good crew. I often find myself going against groups of 4-5 while solo and I can usually get a kill or two but you can only do so much by yourself lol. I absolutely love the content man, in fact when I get swarm killed I usually just say the hell with it and watch your newest videos lol. Hopefully one day our paths will cross in-game!

@@BayAreaBully7667 Normally when I play vanilla on official I look for a med to low pop server with the lowest ping, spawn in and eat my food right away and start heading inland. I usually try to hit about a dozen buildings or so on my way inland to find a bit of food along the way but your best bet is to find food, water, and weapons to defend yourself and also get more food. You can RUclips some beginner guides that are quite helpful and I think @Nezar might even have one. To be honest most of my in game knowledge comes from watching Nezar, JLK, Exclusion, and @TheRunningManZ. Watch a few videos from each of these guys and you will have a nice sight picture on the general mechanics of the game. And you get to enjoy some righteously kick ass content doing so! Best of luck to ya!

I think the game sees the inside of the roof as occupied space, but having your camera below the beams seems to fix this issue
