my wife from NC Charlotte she has been at Wild Horses NC Outer Banks maybe one day she well take me to see the NC Outer Banks great video.
Im from Charlotte too and I visited the outer banks many years ago and we saw wild horses! It's amazing.

Wow! I’ll be down there next week. Hope I get half the quality of these shots.
First our OBX trip was in 1981. The ponies walked up to our car in Corolla and stuck their heads in our car windows. Very curious and amazing animals. They’ve been sinced moved north where there are no roads because of people hitting them with cars because of the buildup of “civilization” . I’ll never forget our encounter with them. Now you have to book (and pay for) what just be an amazing drive down the beach road. I miss the OBX before it was so built up.

IMH. Just take 12 from north to south from KDH to Ocracoke Island. My favorite drive in the world. Pea Island, the light houses, and one of the most beautiful and wildlife diverse places on earth. I envy you that you live there!!
